| Mengzi Ideology developed into a great stage of transformation and summarization. Studies on Mengzi ideology in Qing Dynasty, which were represented by numerous schools and masters as well as works, being of great variety and achievement, reached one of the climaxes in the development history of these kind of studies of ancient China. Setting the studies in the double surroundings of the development of ideology in Qing Dynasty and the evolution of research on Mengzi all through the history, from the perspective of combining historical literature and history of ideology, the author analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of research on Mengzi in Qing Dynasty and the relative fruits thoroughly and profoundly, paying close attention to the overall effect of alteration of ideology on research on Mengzi, while properly looking into the concrete sense of appliance of academic approach on research on Mengzi ideology.The dissertation consists of five chapters. The former two ones are of summarization, the aim of which is to handle the development tendency of research on Mengzi ideology in Qing Dynasty as well as its main fruits. The first chapter introduces briefly the background and basic status of research on Mengzi ideology in Qing Dynasty, analyzing relatively concretely the profound applicative ideology in the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the ebb and flow of textual research of Qianlong and Jiaqing Era, the resurging of scripture study in temporary language, the adjustment and combination of studies in late Qing Dynasty, as well as the formation and evolution of other situation, while summarizing to a certain degree the features of the booming both of the glossary explanation and of the sense explanation in Qing Dynasty, returning to the classic, stressing on notes of Han Dynasty, recovery, rectification and emphasizing on theme study. The second chapter studies the main achievement of research on Mengzi ideology hi Qing Dynasty by means of combining point and aspect and bringing out aspect with point. The former summarizes the relative fruits of Maoqilin, Yanruoyu, Cuishu, Zaiying, Zhuoguanye, Jianrenrong, Shongxianfen and so forth with inspection of Mengzi's living, the integrated textual research on notes of Mengzi's works and case study as categories; The latter primarily analyzes and comments on the idea of "Integration" inHuanzhongxi's Mengzi's Instruction, the idea of rationalism and natural mind in Wangfuzi's Remarks On Four Masterpieces: On Mengzi's, and the new definition of kindness in Ruanyuan's Mengzi's View About Kindness.The latter three chapters are of case studies, substantially analyzing the research works done by Daizhen, Jiaoxun and Kangyouwei. The third one concretely analyzes the criticism of Daizhen to the thoughts of rationalism and desire of Confucian scholars in Shong Dynasty and their structure of humanity with heart knowing temper as main body, with the research on the process and cause of Daizhen's writing works on Mengzi's Ideology, revealing the significant social value of Daizhen's studies inheriting the tradition and rectifying the people's mind; It also refers that Daizhen set the regulation of academic ideology about Han's idea in Qing Dynasty with methodology of illustrating rationalism by means of ancient instruction, promoting the development of scope sense, meanwhile he had his limitation. The fourth chapter analyzes the composing background of Jiaoxun's Mengzi 's Classic Ideology, further looks into its breakthrough from the standard method of explanation not explaining notes and the great achievement in the field of textual research; demonstrating Jiaoxun's feature of explaining Mengzi's idea with the theory of diversification about research on Ti; arguing Jiaoxun actually stressed on the latter although he compromised between Mengzi and Xunzi explaining Mengzi's ideology about kindness with the perspective of " knowing, so being kind".
