Ethnic Relations History Of The People's Republic Of China

The ethnic relation is an important part of the social relations in every multi-ethnic country. China as a multi-ethnic and unity country has a special way on the development of the ethnic relation history. P.R China inherited the ethnic relation before 1949 and established a new ethnic relation on the new policy groundwork and economy base. The ethnic relation general goals are equality, solidity and helping each other between the ethnic and Han people. The Chinese Community Party and the Government probed actively to develop the new ethnic relation and have been great achievement and had some crucial fault during to go the goals. The paper try to study this process and analysis it.The paper is divided into six chapters. The Chapter one is an introduction about the relevant concept of the paper and the history distinction. The Chapter two is to study the establishment of the ethnic relation in 1949 to 1965.The new ethnic relation was established on the base of the new policy and economy system in 1949.The Government undertook the whole work about the ethnic relation and have been a great achievement. All of the works made to possible realize the goal of the equal, solidify and help each other between the ethnic and Han people. But there are some wrong policies during the initiative in middle of 1950s.Although it was corrected in 1965, it was not corrected thoroughly. These wrong policies impacted the development process on the ethnic relation deeply. The Chapter three try to analysis the ethnic relation met the left-ideas in 1958 to 1963.This is the first special times to the ethnic relations. The new ethnic relation was breached by some wrong policies in the times and prepared some basic problems for the next times. The Chapter Four try to study the ethnic relation in 1966 to 1976.This was the second special times for the ethnic relation in China and was a time full of contradiction. The most of the policies for good ethnic relations were given up and instead of some wrong policies. The problems for the ethnic relation were accumulated and the ethnic conflicts were desalination by the politics movement. Meanwhile, the fluid population made the relation of the common people in different ethnic and Han people development deeply and it was a basically reason which the ethnic relation was not deteriorated all. The Chapter Five try to study the ethnic relation was adjusted in 1978 to 1984.The Cultural Revolution was over and all of the policies for the good ethnic relation were recovered completely step by step. It made the ethnic relation to be adjusted overall and developed continually. The Chapter six try to study on the ethnic relation basic on the new national and the new international environment. China try to set up the market economic and go on reforming, it make lot of social relations change away include the ethnic relation. And the nationalism rose all over the world, the cool war was over, the international environment became more complex. All these impact the ethnic relation in China directly or indirectly. The ethnic relation appeared some new characters in-this condition in China .1 suggest that seize these new characters and practice the good policies would be improvement the ethnic relation develop smoothly further.
