"Pluralistic Interactionism" was Zhang-dongshung's original creation made personally, which has not been getting location in Chinese modern ideological history until now. "Pluralistic Interactionism" was a unique school and had taken an unique effect to make multiple factors to be in harmony The first item of Zhang-dong-shung's most outstanding contribution, was that he connected knowledge and culture. He discussed epistemology in the culture's frame of reference. The problem of the relation of knowledge and culture was Zhang-dong-shung's basic problem , the key point of his epistemological views and the focus of his epistemological system. His views of epistemology were spread out from this axle center. The second item of Zhang-dong-shung's most outstanding contribution, was the method of "Pluralistic Interactionism" .The method of " Pluralistic Interactionism " was Zhang-dong-shung's basic method of thinking over problems and his basic standpoint of world view, also shown the basic characteristic of the way of his thinking over problems, that's to say,"Pluralistic Interactionism" was his the marrow of entire thought and soul. The Epistemology of "Pluralistic Interactionism" had offered a kind of basic frame of the Epistemology in broad sense, had made unification among a lot of different factors , methods and trends of thought in some sense,and had offered deep enlightenment. Zhang-dongshung's philosophy was the outcome of the collision of Chinese and foreign culture , ancient and contemporary culture, that's to say , was the outcome of "Sinicization of foreign culture" and "internationalization of Chinese culture".Zhang-dongshung's epistemology of "Pluralistic Interactionism" , on some sense, had inherited the tradition of western "Universal ration" (Hussell) , the tradition of wisdom of and Chinese philosophy, the western scientific spirit in broad sense. On some sense, he had corrected deflection of understanding of science and reason in the modern culture of Chinese and Western , had reverted to the complete and whole meanings of the concepts of science , reasonand knowledge , had given a better responses for the debates of " Science and Philosophy" . This paper has discussed the problems of methodology, the structure of knowledge, the contents of knowledge( include feeling and explaining ), the forms of knowledge( include category and logic), truth problems etc. My original intention and central thought are to research the epistemological problems in the frame of reference of the idea of "the epistemology in broad sense" in this study.
