The feelings of language,its properties and psychological mechanism are systematically discussed in this thesis. The thesis is composed of five parts.In the first part of the thesis,in view of an insolvable problem about "expending more time and obtaining less effectiveness" in Chinese teaching,according to hot focus of recent study of "feelings of language" in Chinese teaching in our country,we comfirm that investigating the feelings of language is of much importance to teaching theory and practice. At the same time,the methodological' questions regarding to the feelings of language are discussed.In the second part,based on many studies of the language feelings,from a viewpoint of psychology,we define the connotation and extension of the language feeling,differentiate its varieties,reveal its basic property and psychological functions,and propose the problem of its psychological representation.In the third part,firstly,with the method of the "Knowledge Classification",based on stating JR.Anderson's theory of ACT-R,we initially confirm it is suitable and reasonable that we creatively take the "Language System of ACT-R (LSA)" as psychological representation of the language feelings. Secondly,based on the theory of ACT-R,from a viewpoint of implicit and explicit learning,we clarify the general psychological mechanism of forming of the language feelings. Finaly,after introducing several transfer theories that have been prevailing since 1980,we propose an original view of " intuitive transfer of adaptability ". And we take reading as an example,expounding the psychological mechanism of operating and transfering of the language feelings,which shows furtherly it is suitable and reasonable that "LSA" is taken as the representation.In the forth part,based on the "Teaching Theory of Knowledge Classification",we take grade 3 pupils of primary school as subjects and carry out teaching experiment of sentence group in order to investigate "feelings of semantics,garammar and writing rules". Results of the experiment 1 show that a suitable teaching procedure is beneficial to forming a schema of sentence group and the language feelings for most of the pupils. Results of the experiment 2 indicate that three classes of knowledge play respective role in the language feelings:The declarative knowledge of content plays a main effect. The common procedural knowledge determines property and speed of the language feeling. And the strategical knowledge affects direction of information processing and efficacy of the language feelings.In the fifth part,main creative achievements in the thesis are summarized and weakness is pointed out.
