| Health and Disease conflict each other in the process of life, the conflict is also a character of the quality of living state. With the help of healing, controlling and preventing disease, accompany with health promotion , We can make our body and mind come back to the state of healthy that had not attacked by disease, or if possible, come back to much healthier state. As a basic cultural request, the demand of healing disease and prompting health is origined from yearning for happy life in our culture. It also produces formation of the nature of gene technology. It is infiltration of this kind of value tropism that leads to great progress and many new moral ethical problems in gene technology in 1990s.It is necessary to analyze and discuss all the problems to meet the request for the development of bioethics. Starting at the analyzing of health and disease, with the clue of the autonomic development of gene technology, this article emphatically discusses gene ethical problems in three aspects which include understanding the secret of life, manipulating life and searching for the goodness in life.It will also discuss the relationship between gene technology and bioethics.First of all, gene technology opened a new vision of life. Although there are many differences between normative and non normative definition of health, the force to advance gene technology is seeking for health. With the leading of this motivation, the scientists had finished Human Genome Project(HGP).during the whole process of the project, HGP made us understand the nature of life in a level of molecule. Now, there is not only a new therapeutic model in medicine with the realization of the source of disease, but also the social construction of the concept of gene. We understand the relationship between genetic information and health on the base of a new moral ethics, and discuss the meaning of dispute between gene determinism and non-determinism.Secondly, gene technology,based on the understanding of the nature of life,is operated as a tool or an instrument of manipulation. At first, scientists use it to cure disease, now, it can be used to interpret living process voluntarily .The construction of disease definition from the model of reductionism to holism came from the understanding of the nature of disease, and directed establishment of the notion of holistic definition of disease. Accompanied with the need for health and the desire for heal disease in certain culture background, while gene technology developed from somatic gene therapy to germ-line therapy, it brings us to think the ethical problems such as the risk and complexity in gene technology , application of ethics principles in new situation, the freedom and right of person, the moral statue of embryo ,etc.At last, while it is possible to use germ-line therapy for the benefit of human'sfuture generation, maybe germ-line therapy can be used to produce a healthier and nicer person with more capability, which brings a hint which means man should become an object instead of a subject in gene technology gradually. The outcome will be serious, and we should consider how to respect the dignity of human being in modern ethical crisis. The reasonable discussions of principles of bioethics reveal the responsibilities of scientists and the institutionalization of bioethics, as well as the cross of science culture and humanity culture. It formed a steadily foundation for caring for the relationship of technology and ethics finally.All the discussion of bioethics required us to think the relationship of technology and ethics again in a new era in order to quicken up the pace of technology for the benefit of human being. The development of society needs technology progress, while ethics is the best guard of technology. Caring for the relationship of technology and ethics is not outside of the technology's process.
