The study on fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) is still rather weak at present.Based on inheriting the achievements of predecessors, this dissertation mainly focuses on the fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯ ) in mordern Chinese,mainly on the Yuan Drama,and research into the orgin of fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) .There are five chapters in this dissertation.Capter I : I mainly discuss the conception of fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) review the study history of this linguistic phenomenon.and explain the meaning of my theme selection.Capter II :Based upon analysis of the predecessors' viewpoint on the origin of fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) , I put forward my opinion. I think fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) have two sources. One come from reduplication and sound change (é‡å 音å˜) of single-syllable word, and the other come from single-syllable doubled for postpone-speak (缓读分音) .The first sort of words are mainly used to discribe some kind of manner, state or sound, and the second sort are usually used to express some thing or situation. I think the internal momentum of fanyu-pianci's (åè¯éªˆè¯) forming and evolvement is need of expression and syllable harmonious, and its internal foundation is the construction of Chinese sound and people's ability of perceptual knowledge.Capter III,IV, V: I make textual research into and explain some fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) of Mordern Chinese respectively. I try to reveal fanyu-pianci's (åè¯éªˆè¯) "source word" and its multitudinous derivational form, and discuss the way of its derivation, and consider that most fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) can reduplicate especially those used to discribe appearance or simulate sound. Through partially or completely reduplicating or sound change on the basis of reduplication, fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) can develop various change forms. Moreover, fanyu-pianci (åè¯éªˆè¯) often can form three-syllabal or four-syllable word by combining synonymous or meaning-close words.
