There is close relation between literature and consumerism culture since ninty decade in the twentith century. This paper does not discuss the female metropolis novel of ninty decade only on text, but considers it more fully in wide consumerism cultural with social cultural factors , so as to seek the cause of the prosperous prosperity of female metropolis novel of ninty decade, explore its aesthetics and cultural meaning, and explain and solve the actual condition and problem in the female metropolis novel.This paper is divided into seven parts totally.Part one explained the development condition of the consumerism culture in China emphatically on the base of the discrimination in the concept of consumer and consumerism cultural. Various consuming become the first selection to self-improve and self-satisfy of the metropolis popular . The spring up of the consumerism culture also produced deep influence on the Chinese literature of 90 decade at the same time. As the sensitive to the consumerism society and the imagination advantage of personification, the reaction of female writers not only looks more natural but also free and tendency ,so the female metropolis writing presents a vast prosperous landscape.Part two analyses the symbol of consumerism culture -desire .Under the banner of consumerism not only pursuing material desire and enjoyment have been legal , and chasing the delight of body desire have also become a kind of fashion. With their peculiar sharpvisual angle, female writers have presented the materialness of commercializing the metropolis person carefully and clearly , and demonstrated the body desire of the women in the consumer times. At the same time they not only expose the expansion desire of the metropolis person, also insert into the soul depths of metropolis person, and has revealed the spiritual fact of metropolis person in this material times differently.Part three analysis the female image in the female metropolis novel of ninty decade. The arrival of consumer times raised the socioeconomy position of female , but popular medium guide still makes a part of female turn to the old someness role . Female writers are paying attention to the female realistic survival circumstances .They don't sink blame completely in external environment, but throw more to female self. Female writers also have pursued break out of it with positive posture.But what regret however is that the kinds of break can not succeed finally , actually lies in greatly the strategy that females adopt is still according to the game rule established in male society.Part four have discussed the word of middle class in consumerism culture and the female metropolis novel of ninty decade. In the consumer 90 decade this word of " middle class " begins to appear more and more frequently. Female writers not only carefully depict the life of a batch of" become rich first "or" successful personage "in ninty decade, and still extend style of writing to the middle class appearanced in the old Shanghai as well as new China .They have reappeared luxurious elegantlife of this class. Some female writers can still break through the surface of life , reveal the fact of luxurious life of the middle class , so expose their another face. But their metropolis text also has the phenomenon of weightlessness on criticism.Part five have analysed the narrative strategy of consumer cultural times and female metropolis novel. In ninty decade, female metropolis novel gets the solicitude of internal and external literary world and it has great relation with the narrative strategy that female writers adopt and match with reader market. This part has carried out a analysis of the three kinds of major narrative strategy that female writers adopt in the metropolis novel of ninty decade: actual events, legend and image narrative strategy. And also discusses the insufficient place of this 3 kinds of narrative strategy.Part six have discussed the relation of consumerism culture and the production of the female metropolis novel of ninty decade.
