The dissertation consists of the preface, the main body and the conclusions. In the preface, the author explains the aim and meaning of the subject, summarizes the relevant achievements at home and abroad, introduces the main problems, the trains of thought, writing methods, and studying features of the dissertation. The main bodyincludes the prelude and five Chapters. In the prelude, the background------theNasser's heritage, is introduced. From Chapter One to Three, the dissertation analyzes and explores the changes and their causes of the three relations. In Chapter Four, the author explores the wrestles and interaction among the three parts. In Chapter Five, the dissertation applies the Theory of Civilized Communication to study the features of the Egyptian Foreign Relations and the fundamental factors that influence their trends. The dissertation proposes, there are three great changes in the Egyptian Foreign Relations during this period. Firstly, Egypt which was pro-Soviet before the October War turns to pro-America after the War. Secondly, Egypt and Israel which broke out four wars make peace in 1979. Thirdly, the Egypt-Arabs relations transit from cooperation to separation, then to unity. These different relations have their own law. The main trend of the Egyptian-American relations which has become the strategic allies is cooperation, while the Egyptian-Israeli relations has made peace, but it is in "Cold Peace". As to the Egyptian-Arabs relations, it coexists both clashes and cooperation. The dissertation emphasizes that the three relations are interrelated and interactive. In a word, the Egyptian-American relations, the most important bilateral relations in the Egyptian Foreign Relations, promotes the development of theEgyptian-Israeli relations and influences the Egyptian-Arabs relations, while the level of Egyptian-Israeli relations reflects the changes of the Egyptian-Arabs relations. However, Egypt, America, Israel, and Arab play various roles in different relations. The dissertation proposes, from the viewpoint of the Theory of Civilized Communication, the contents of the Egyptian Foreign Relations from 1970 to 2000 include political communication, economic communication, military communication, and cultural communication, whose forms are peace, war, cooperation, or conflict. What affects the trends of the Egyptian Foreign Relations has many factors, such as geography, environment, religion, culture, political system, the Present's temperament, the relation of heads of states, and the state's interests. Among these factors, the former four factors play indirect role, while the state's interests are cardinal springboards and drive of the Egyptian Foreign Relations, and the rest are direct. In the end, the dissertation draws five conclusions. First, the October War is a turning point in the Egyptian Foreign Relations from 1970 to 2000. What resulted in the three rapid changes in the Egyptian Foreign Relations after this War is Egypt's foreign strategical modulations and the international circumstances changes. Second, the three relations interrelate and interact. Third, the Egyptian Foreign Relations reflects the civilized communications. Fourth, the level and trend of the Egyptian Foreign Relations depend on how many factors included in the civilized communications interact. Finally, the clashes among different civilizations don't necessarily arise the international relations to conflict or compete, while the relations among them are coexistence in their communications.
