The dissertation focus on the study of a literator and his Productions. DaiBiaoyuan was a great literator who lived during a time between late Song andearly Yuan dynasty. His writings and about literary opinions had a certaininfluence to his times. Based on the achievement of former scholars, the authoroverview each side of Dai Biaoyuan and his writings. Under the background ofliterature in the time of later Song and early Yuan dynasty, the author try toreveal the whole literary opinions of Dai Biaoyuan and give a proper estimationof his achievement on writings. By this way, the author has done his best topromote the literature study of Yuan dynasty and the literature criticism ofChina ancient. In the forward Comment on the presented study of Dai Biaoyuan, the authorsummarizes the scholars' studies on Dai Biaoyuan and points out theachievements and deficiencies, then states the reason of writing this dissertation. Chapter One is lifetime, making friends and writings of Dai Biaoyuan, theauthor generally researches Dai Biaoyuan's born place, family, lifetime, thinking ,making friends and writings in four sections. Chapter Two Researches on the poetry of Dai Biaoyuan, there are foursections. Section One generally states the quantities, system styles, subjects andthe related accumulated works of his poetry. Section Two analyzes the themechoice of his poetry from three directions of emotional sigh, the painfulness oflosing family and homeland as well as the feeling of reclusion. Section Three talksabout the style of art in Dai Biaoyuan's poetry from three sides of image using,aesthetic seeking, poetry structure and sentence using. The last sectionresearches the art origin of Dai Biaoyuan's poetry from the perspective offollowing the tradition Tang dynasty and ancient . Then, the author comment DaiBiaoyuan on his poetry achievement and his position on the poetry field of Yuandynasty. Chapter Three is Prose Study of DaiBiaoyuan, There are four sections. In thefirst section, the author comments on Dai Biaoyuan's prose according to thequantities, styles and contents. In the second section, the author analyzes thestyles character and art achievement of Dai Biaoyuan's prose which focuses onhis different articles such as prefaces, postscripts, notes, etc. In section three, the 1author overviewes Dai Biaoyuan's poetry in accordance with the thoughtbackground which the early poetry follows the styles of Tang and Song dynasty.With this special overview, the author points out that Dai Biaoyuan's writingshave reflected mainstream of the thought. In the last section, the author analyzesthe reason that Dai Biaoyuan could be a great writer and researches hisinfluence. Chapter Four is the Poetics Study of Dai Biaoyuan, there are three sections.In the first section, the author put the writer's poetics under the background oflate Song and early Yuan dynasty to estimate they value. In section two, theauthor analyzes Dai Biaoyuan's poetics, such as "realism", "follow Tang andancient to write", "unfortunate life benefits to writing", "rich experience helpswith writing ", etc. In Section three, the author briefly comments on the DaiBiaoyuan's poetic opinions. Although the poetic opinions of Dai Biaoyuan has nounique character on the specific contents, if we put his opinions on thebackground of Yuan dynasty's poetry field, they are valuable. Dai Biaoyuan havecreated a way to follow the styles of Tang dynasty and ancient and influenced thepoetry in Yuan and Ming dynasty deeply.
