Ethics is one of the most popular propositions in the field of humanism. From all fields of political revolutions, enlightening thoughts, literary campaigns or culture construction, ethics is either final goal of them, or tools to fulfill their personal ideals, as well as spiritual motives for the human proceeding. However, it is no doubt that ethics, which is particularly conceded with literature, always plays a essential role in the construction of Chinese humanism and the portraying of the character of Chinese nationality of the 21 st century, and accordingly. The ethic reason, which is based on ethics, is hereby associated closely with those literary subjects such as reconstruction of writer's subjective consciousness, the formation of literary texts or the alternation of literary thoughts. To some extent, the history of literary development and change is the history of mutual enhancement, mutual inhibition and mutual forging between the ethic reason and the literary narrative ness more than a single history of the ethic reason's changing. Thus, we may get to know the dynamics of the ethic reason and even provide a new horizon for the healthy development of the literary and the construction of current humanism spirits in the case of a clear clarification of the dynamics of the literature. All those are what this paper does. With more and more finization of displines, ethic is regarded as a set of theoretical principles formed by human rational self-thinking of its behavior, which consists of moral norms coordinated by whether goodness or wickedness, or whether justice or injustice. It is no doubt that normative ness and practiveness are important feature for ethics, but not the sole quality of it because of its multidemensioniveness, that is, not the only one of the value's system and cultural spirits, but a category of ideology and ideal of the life, a symbol of the life also. The life is the impetus of whole human behavior which are implemented forcedly as a combination of concrete normtiveness whit abstruse objectiveness which is beyond the life. It is the final part of philosophy of the spirit, which tells a story about the life and its meaning, its aim and value as well as the human creative ability, and even becomes the impetus of value production and human creativeness. Based on this cognition mentioned above, the paper examines the ethic reason's changing in the Chinese novels of 1980s.The proceeding of Chinese society had gone into the age of 1980s after suffering the leftist thought, particularly the so-called cultural revolution. With shifting of the center of national undertaking, the retrospection and self-adjudging started in the circle of the culture and the thoughts. The initial re-thinking was restricted to the damage caused by leftist thought, and some modification was done . So the red ethic reason was full of the subjective consciousness of the writers and the imaginary figures, and played a important role in the control of the writers' writing and the works' inner structure. But with the reform of the economic system and the coming of foreign culture, the red ethic reason was obviously not able to undertake the task of the organization, support and reconstruction of new humanism spirit and soul's party in the Chinese society. The old function and mission given in the period of communism revolution had to go to the end with changing of the context of the age. Thus, after a short time of heavy propaganda in the age of 1980s, the red ethic reason began to be argued, criticized and overturned, even in the 1990s works characteristic of so-called new realism which became weaker and weaker.The writers stepped on a new journey to find new humanism resources and the spirit of the ethic reason while it was giving up its reality. Their final efforts were to collect the resources associated with reconstruction of the new ethic system, the life method and the human idea, and to look for such factors of the ethics with active meanings from Chinese traditional culture.
