Philosophy is the voice of era that is not chronological time, but a kind of history consciousness. Exactly on the meaning of history consciousness, the whole worldly capitalism has common quality in the sense since the Industrial Revolution of England; anc it is updated that Marx criticized capitalism in the essence; and Marx belongs to our era. The capitalism has the inner relativity with the modernity. So the theory that Marx criticized capitalism is completely apt to modernity. The essence of modernity is traditional metaphysics. So, it means to criticize metaphysics that Marx criticized modernity. However, the Marx' s essential point on modernity is misunderstood by his successors. On the one hand, Marx' s philosophy is held as intellectual science by Second International theorists, such as Mehring, Plekhanov etc.; on the other hand, it is held as religious humanistic criticism by Frankfurt' s school of thought etc. The whole Marx is broken. This kind of degenerative comprehension resulted from the thinking mode of intellectual metaphysics. That is to say, Marx' s successors still understood Marx' s new view of world in the standpoint of traditional metaphysics. In fact, it is inevitable to underestimate the importance of Marx if the philosophical revolution and the criticism of modernity are emphasized from such position."Existentialism" can be used to express the essence that Marx criticized modernity. Existentialism opposes to traditional metaphysics. It is beyond abstract and conceptual structure in the scope of intellectuality, and realizes the "migration" of foundation from "ego" to praxis individual. Its main characteristic is "becoming", namely not to think things as ready-made constant existence. Difference from conceptual, logical and reflective characters of traditional metaphysics, some scholars well and truly describe existentialism with "ex-conceptual, ex-logical, ex-reflective" to express the preference of practical relationship to theorial relationship between human and world. Transformation of whole western philosophy in nineteen century is the turn of existentialism. Please mind Nietzsche and Heidegger. Marx's existentialism is identical with theturn of western modern philosophy, arid differentiates with irrational character of western existentialism. Radically, western existentialism doesn't really transcend metaphysics. Marx's existentialism transcends the mode of thinking of traditional metaphysics, changes the philosophical pattern and runs though inherence by appealing to practice and criticism of political economy. In the view of Marx's existentialism, the mixed contents of modernity can mostly generalize spiritual and economic realms. Marshall affirms: the history of world constructs from both the economic and religious power. On the one hand, Marx criticizes metaphysics that is the foundation of theology. He thinks that spiritual value, which makeup abstract world of metaphysics as the part beyond the world regulated by symbolic logic, withdraws to the other world in the area of modernity, that essence of religion reflects human nature, that God is human's metaphysical creation, and different from Feuerbach, that the root of religious liberation rests on realistic liberation, not on abstract spiritual liberation; on the other hand, Marx criticizes metaphysics that is the foundation of political economy. He thinks, it is metaphysical attitude in fact that economists non-historically admit the legality of existent world, and misunderstand alienated reality as the right way, and accept the eternality of alienated social relationship. After exposing the metaphysics as foundation of theology and political economy, it is the logical conclusion that "the end of history" is bankrupt. Communism means the end of modernity as realistic movement of denying private possession.
