Human Literature

As literature is homonology, literary problems are essentially human beings' problems. Hume, an English empiricism philosopher.once posed: homonology is the only firm base of other science, so no problems can be indeed solved without knowing homonology well. His view is very reasonable. So it is the same with literary problems' solution; to study homonology thoroughly and all-sidedly is an important premise and theoretical base for the vertical development of the literary research.This essay holds that homonology is a science concerning human beings' entirety, which study human beings' entirety as well as the whole people. Therefore there are two basic homonology problems i.e. "what is it" and "how ought it to be". Homonology must settle the two problems. In this sense, only literature is the real homonology because people in literary activities is concrete, perceptual and vivid (other so-called homonology always just reflects certain property and certain abstract essence, so in their field, people is solid and abstract), and literature not only solves the problem "what is it", describing the human beings' real image but also pays close attention to the problem "how ought it to be", leading people to pursue the life which really "ought to be" (other so-called literature only involves people's substance property, only pays attention to solving the problem "what is it" and solving people's nature, characters as well as its objective development law, but seldom concerns the problem "how ought it to be"). So only literature solves the two basic problems on homonology thoroughly, and only literature truly draws a piece of "people's complete prospect". Then we raise this proposition, homonology literature, on the basis of this kind of thinking and understanding.There are six chapters in this essay. Chapter 1 is the introduction, which demonstrates the necessity and feasiblity of researching homonology literature from the there angles, i.e. the limitation in homonology field and homonology literature theory, the crisis of the theoretical identity and the research necessity, homonology absence in modern literation and the practical direction of the research. Chapter 2 is about the outline of the western homonology thought, in which the typical western homonology theory are respectively expounded such as sensibility, reason,existence, symbol and so on. Chapter 3 discusses the outline of Chinese homonology thought,in which the Confucianists and Taoist homonology thought are explored, which occupy a very important position in Chinese homonology thought. Chapter 4 is about the process from paradox to conformity of Marxism homonology thought. In this chapter, the auther inpuires into Marxism homonology and stresses the scientific and dialectical character of Marxism homonology thought by contracting it with Chinese and foreign traditional homonology thought, at the same time, it theoretically foreshadows the further research of homonology literature. Chapter 5 is about the representative characters of homonology literature. The author constructs the connotation of homonology literature according to the following three aspects. They are the substance: the foundation of human beings and literary, practicalrepresentative character: human beings and literary activity, function direction: the construction of literature and human beings. Chapter 6 is the way approaching homonology literature. The chapter preliminarily understands and inquires into the research object, subject orientation, research method of homonology literature including the logical necessity of its producing and developing, which establishes an initial theoretical base for further earring on homonology literature research.In a word, it is an important link for researching literature and art therory from traditional method to modern method to thoroughly carry on homonology literature research. The further development of homonology literature not only depends on the modern achievement of literature research, but also the theory visual field of homonology. This decides its characters, intersection and comprehension, in the process of homonology literature's theory producing and developing. This essay just talks about some preliminary ideas on related problems, but its deveolpment and deepening still demands the colleagues' studying in literature and art theory field, however, it is a long long way to go.
