From Opposition To Recognition: The Relations Between Russia And America During 1917—1933

During the international relation history in 20th century, Russia-America relation occupied an important position. And, development and change of bilateral relations produced profound influence to history progress in the whole world. Russia-America relation was noticed dramatically. In This thesis, the author completely and objectively introduced and researched Russia-America relation of 1917-1933 years. The body of this thesis consists of four chaptersChapter 1 is mainly about the October revolutions influence on American local political life .The revolution produced profound influence on the course of the world history. It marked the new era of mankind's history– the beginning of capitalism and the socialism system existing and competing with capitalism system. As a huge change of the social systems, the revolution influenced the American political life deeply. After the October revolution, the American working class and its political party showed their welcome to it. They launched a movement of"forbid to intervene Soviet"to support the young political power. Under the influence of the revolution, the left wing of the American workers movement broke up with the right wing of reformism. The left wing revolution strength established American communist party under the help of the Communist International. Although the American workers movement forged due ahead at that time, American working class was still weak lacking revolutionary quality,solidarity spirit and class consciousness, because of special geography condition and social environment.
