Poet In Southern Song Dynasty In Jiangxi Cohort Study

This dissertation makes an analysis,through the discussion on the concept of ti and pai, of the controversial Jiang xi school of Ci, pointing out that it is more exact and scientific to define those writers as group writers of Ci.The group writers of Ci can be divided into two parts,the group of the period of Xin Jiaxuan and the group of Liu Xuxi.The latter not only inherited from the fomer the concept of Ci and ideas of Ci writing,but also made improvements in two aspects:using Ci as the record of history and making Ci as a narrative means.During the period of Xin Jiaxuan ,the group writers of Ci included Hong Shi, Hong Mai, Han Yuanji, Zhao Yuanduan, Zhao Shankuo, Zhao Shankang,Yang Yanzheng, Zhao Fan, Han Biao,Xu Wenqing, Xu Anguo, Zhao Jinchen, Liu Guo, Jiang Kui, and so on.There were contacts and replying writing activities among these Ci writers,but neither commom easthetic idea of Ci nor any universal literary style has come into being.In fact,their works show to us now three kinds of writing styles.On the basis of analyzing the contacts and replying writings among these writers,I finds out the style of Xin Jiaxuan is formulated and appeared just in the process of his contact and literary replying writing with other members of the group writers of Ci.He absorbed different virtues and gradually formed his own characteristics which we call today Jia Xuan Ci Style.This point has been neglected by current research of literature history.The group writers of Ci of Liu Xuxi period consisted of Liu Jiangsun, Wen Tianxiang, Zhao Wen, Zhao Gongke, Deng Yan, Luo Zhiren,Yao Yunwen, Zhan Yu, Teng Bin, Peng Yuanxun, Yan Kui,itc.Among themselves they had contacts and replying writing activities but not that close and frequent.This group is centred around Liu Chenweng and Wen Tianxiang,and is influenced greatly by Jiang Wanli and Ouyang Shoudao.Normally,Liu Guo and Liu Chenweng are considered belonging to the style of Xin Jiangxuan.But this kind of description revealing the similarity between writers tends not to help find out the unique characteristics of one certain writer.So the fourth chapter is to reveal Liu Guo and Liu Chenweng's literary personalities as well as their spiritual links with Xin Jiaxuan.Only in this way can we get close to these writers in the original sense and deepen the literature history research with more details.Many Ci writers of South Song dynasty were members of Jiang Xi Poetry School or influenced by the writing ideas of the school,but the relation between Ci and Poetry has not been noticed.The fifth chapter of this dissertation will disclose the the influences between the two literary forms.Ming Ru Cao Tang Shi Yu is a Ci selection with strong Jiang Xi localities.It has been regarded as a literary works selection of Song writers who refused to serve the Yuan dynasty,and its style been believed to have come from Xin Jiaxuan.But after a statistic analyzing this dissertation points out that the authors of the selection were...
