This paper focuses on the Poetic Theory of Jiang Yingke, who was a representative figure of Gong’an School in the late Ming Dynasty.I hope to construct a complete framework of his Poetics through this paper, in order to get a better understanding of Jiang’s poetry writing, his influence to Gong’an School and the literary trends of the late Ming Dynasty.Chapter1investigates Jiang’s Poetics from his life experiences and poetic creation, which highlights his Confucian Complex, while he was also owned by Buddhism and Taoism, and embraced the seclusion of mentality in the pursuit of his life.Chapter2describes Jiang’s Poetics in detail. Around "True poetry is ancient itself,"True Poetry" and "Really Ancient" are expounded. Meanwhile,"The difference of poem and literary works","Gusto","Extraordinary" and "Artful", what Jiang have emphasized, are also discussed in this part; The end of this portion is about Jiang’s Feminine Poetry Theory, which includes his attitude to women and women’s poetry, his understanding of the status of women’s poetry in history and his evaluation criteria of women’s poetry around Gui Xiu Shi Ping.Chapter3discusses the historical significance of Jiang Yingke’s Poetics, which highlights Jiang’s contribution to Gong’an School laterally, and observes his significance in the history of the late Ming poetry, as well as contemporary research value longitudinally.
