The Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea Movement, as generally defined, is a mass political movement initiated in domestic China for direct material and moral support of the war after it broke out, which coincides synchronously with the war and is regarded as a success to some extent in the early years after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The main significance of the study on the social mobilization in the movement is summarized as follows. First, due attention has not yet paid to the academic aspect of the movement within the historical framework, whereas the existing relevant research results are more for memorizing but less for academic value. Second, since an unprecedented nationwide mobilization has almost been formed in China during the movement, what are the characteristics of the mobilization process and its mode? The movement, either as a drive or as a history, has left us something worth self-reflecting and the corresponding enlightenments. Third, it is well known that the PRC had gone through the first thirty years after its founding almost with various movements, study on the movement of Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea will deepen our understanding of the movement history of the PRC.This thesis consists of introduction, five chapters of supporting paragraphs and conclusion.The introduction, on the macro level, makes a detailed explanation of the research rationale, method, principle and theoretical framework to fully demonstrate the research purpose and the topic value from more perspectives.The first chapter is about the Movement of Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea and the Chinese social psyche. Based on the existing material, the thesis presents that the strategic decision of Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea needs a * transition from the Will of the CPC and the State to the Conscious Action of the Mass. If Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea is a hard decision-making process for Mao Zedong and the central leadership of the CPC, a process of being understood and accepted for ordinary people. The prevailing negative psyche of the Chinese people towards Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea prior to the movement is right the major reason of the movement.The second chapter introduces the mobilizing forms, specific methods and the characteristics of the publicity movement, trying to reveal the functioning mechanism of the publicity mobilization during the movement.The third chapter recounts and analyzes the complaining activity during the Resisting U.S and Aiding North Korea Movement. As a mobilizing means, complaining activity has played an insubstitutable role, and this unique mobilizing method, on the other hand, has demonstrated the deep significance of the movement in practice.The fourth chapter analyzes the mobilization for action. Generally, mobilization for action, within the theoretical framework of social movement and social mobilization, includes demonstrations, strikes, fasting, self-burning and other violent methods such as riots, uprisings, etc. However, in addition to its uniqueness, the...
