A Study On Chinese Popular Literature In 1990s

Popular literature was a prominent cultural phenomenon and even became a distinct characteristic in the Chinese society of 1990s.In a sense,popular literature originated and developed in Chinese realistic contexts of 1990s, which met the needs of the socity and went with the changes of history and culture,but also set a new task for our reseach into the construction of literature and art theory and contempory literature or culture.If attempted to have a good understanding of characteristics of contemporary culture and aesthetic standards, it is realistic and nessary to study the new popular literature.The rise of popular literature research occurred at the beginning of 1990s in China .Based on the related studies and discusses available ,it is easy to find that there are two aspects to be affirmed .On one hand ,the researchers have not limited their studies on Chinese popular literature itself but kept the world in view,using the western relevent theories or achivements as the reference or as the beginning of their study.Therefore,theses researchers have introduced lots of western works or papers concerned.On the other hand ,some researchers have not satisfied with the translation media,aiming to solve Chinese problems on the basis of seeking common...
