The justification for Moral validity means that the philosophers search a rational foundation for the moral norm, this task was originated from the Enlightenment . According to the Enlightenment , the rational foundation of the moral norm is not based on the religion world view, but on the reason. Because the religionary authority is not credible any more.At the Age of Reason, there were main two types of justification, which were provided by empiricism and rationalism respective. The Empiricist thought that behavior was motivated by the desire for pleasure and the avoidance of pain, and the ethical doctrine holding that only what was pleasant or has pleasant consequences was intrinsically good. The Rationalist thought that act or practice should refrain from desire and reliance on reason as the best guide for belief and action. This point of view was embodied sufficiently in Kantian ethics. Kant thought the moral principle was consistent with or based on reason and was the exclusive criterion of human behavior.The two types of the justification for Moral validity were endowed with metaphysical characteristic and based on the ontological premise, such as human nature of Hume and free will of Kant. They were not successful .The modernistic Justification for Moral validity is thorough collapsed under the criticism of he Existentialism and meta-ethics.
