Ming Dynasty Chronicle Research

The subject of Tongjian (the following are called Tongjian briefly) is the important part of Chinese ancient history of historiography, the Tongjian of Ming Dynasty ,which is important transitional stage during its developmental process, owns its own feature. This paper tries to acquire the general acquisition of the development of the whole Tongjian by analyzing the origin and change of Tongjian of Ming Dynasty. It also explores its changeable inner train of thoughts by analyzing the two important features: benefit of the existing society and seeking the truth. The body of this paper divided into six parts.Chapter One gives a brief introduction of origin of Ming Dynasty's Tongjian. It was still not come into being during North Song Dynasty, because Tongjian finished in later North Song Dynasty. With the deeper research on it during South Song Dynasty, various of works appeared such as: continuation type, adaptation type, annotated type. Southern Song Dynasty's Tongjian is beginning to take shape, and provides subsequent development trends. Yuan, the "Compendium" enhancing permeability, showing the rulers of the "Tongjian" and "Compendium", and scholars tend to analyze the characteristics of the "Compendium".Chapter Two deals with the evolution of the Ming Dynasty. As a simple line, and the Ming Dynasty's Tongjian can be classified into two periods. More monotonous and boring that early warning, strong imperial orders and repair features detailed outline of the body where the "Tongjian" section of the testimony at the Tongjian study is the existence of the political status of the client. From the late Ming Dynasty it escaped the official control, showing a diversified development trend. Some scholars have already crossed the " Compendium" ,explaining it from a variety of perspectives on modern science, "Gangjian" with the history books have reflected trends in modern science popularization. Comprehensive study of the Ming Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty ceramics is the political, economic, cultural and social changes in the factors affecting the changes.Chapter Three focuses on the function of historiography's "benefit to the existing society—"searching nature's law "to the Ming Dynasty's Tongjian and functional analysis of the three aspects of internal changes and the impact of the Ming Dynasty . Comprehensive study of the Ming Dynasty and the development of our Neo-confucianism is based on changes in thinking and in background.
