Stylistic Research, Theory And Practical Origins

Practical writing, which describes a Chinese composition in vogue, has been researched in recent years but the theory of studying for the history of practical writing is not substantial. Therefore, this article discusses the theory of ancient Chinese writing stylistics and the development of modern linguistic stylistics research in the Western world in the past century. Specifically, it expounds the functional stylistics research based on systematic functional linguistics.By applying above-mentioned theories, the writer researches a history of practical writing from early Qin Dynasty to modern times including its origin, development, distinguishability and standard.The research would be beneficial to the development of the theory of practical writing and to the writing of this kind of Chinese composition.
