In the disyllabization of Chinese vocabulary, the epoch of Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties is an allow of no to neglect of important period. Although there were some disyllabic words in the pre-Qin's days, and since Two Han Dynasties the quantities was also gradually several, until the Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties the development of the disyllabic words just obtained breakthrough progress. The word system of Chinese language changed greatly. Not only the quantity of the disyllabic words to increase very greatly, and the grammatical structure of compound words is also basic and completely mature. The layer combination compound words and other new forms also become to develop. Therefore, as a connecting link that inherits old times and opens the middle times, the We&Jin and Six Dynasties is an alternative key in this period. It laid foundation for the disyllabic words became the main body of the Chinese language system in Tang&Six Dynasties.The research object of the thesis is the disyllabic words of the epoch of Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties.We select "SanGuo Zhi"(not including the notes of Peisong zhi), "Luoyang Qielan Notes", "Notation on Waterways"(part, about 150,000 words) to be the main research object. These three languages anticipate a current officer to revise a history. There are also literature works to carry on the depiction to the monastery and the river circumstance. They all reflect the language special features of Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties from different aspects. We assist other persons' productions about "BaoPuZi", "New Collection of Anecdotes of Famous Personages", "Family Monitions of Yan", in order to describe the conditions of disyllabic words in Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties completely and objectively.The research object of the thesis doesn't include simplex words and the technical term and the official position name in the disyllabic words. Simplex words have just pure sound dependence on the relation of the speech to express certain meaning. There is no regulation to be followed on the structure. Although it appeared earlier in the history of Chinese language, they have already presented to decline in the Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties evidently, not only in the quantity but also in new output forms. Mostly it is hangover n. from ancient Chinese language. The technical term and the official position structure one don't have a type to push new forms, and their quantity is huge, if account into the data, it certainly can influence the objectivity and the reliability of circumstance reflected by the data. So we exclude all the simplex words and the technical term and the official position outside our range of research.Thesis gives priority to the total hour of Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties study, in the meantime it carries on a comparison with the two periods of Old Times and Tang&Five Dynasties, trying to display the emergence and development of the history of Chinese language from the ancient to the Wei&Jin and Six Dynasties first then to the Tang&Five Dynasties again. We select "ZuoZhuan", "ShiJi", "HanShu", "Hou HanShu" and "LunYu", "HanFei Zi", "LunHeng" etc. as the representative works of Old Times. We anticipate mainly with "Travel Notes of Fairyland", "WeiShu". "ZuTang Ji" for represent of the period of Tang&Five Dynasties. Tang&Five Dynasties is an important period that is the interim from middle ancient Chinese to modern ancient Chinese. In this period Chinese disyllabic words have develop more completely with mature.
