This dissertation will discuss the features of Theory and Practice of Middle Eastn Islamic countries in Diplomacy through the relation of religious, history, culture and political phenomena.This dissertation includes three parts: preface, the main body and the conclusion.In the preface, the author mainly presents the aim and meaning of the subject, summarizes the relevant achievements, and states the writing methods and the innovation of this dissertation.The main body includes six chapters:In Chapter One, from The Arab character, raw religious, early theory and practice in diplomacy and the social change after Islam, the author mainly states the relationship between Arab and the origin of Islam. Arab character was shaped by special environment, life style from which they were. The raw religious came from those aspects above. Similar as other people, Arab differed friend from enemy, made peace and war in some means. Besides, Arab had their own ways, custom and developed concept of diplomacy. The Muslim order rooted Arab mind and Islam. It showed an huge influence on diplomacy up today.In Chapter Two, the author analyzes the relationship between diplomacy and the concept of nationality, religious and ranks in Islam. Islam originated in Arab. There was special relation between Arab and Alcoran. Arab exhibited dominated position in Islam and its promulgating. In another hand, Since Islam called for equality, there was equal policy in every times in Islamic countries generally. However, Muslim discriminated infidels expect Judaism and Christian sometimes. In Chapter Three, the author discussed holy war. Holy war originated from ancient Arab society. With the Islam's founding, holy war appeared. Holy war shaped one of the features of early diplomacy. Holy war became theory and influenced Muslim word.In Chapter Four, the author studies nationalism and diplomacy of Islam world. Nationalism was one of the west thinking. With the colonialism invading, it was introduced into Islam word until latter-day times. There were two kind of nationalism. One was religious nationalism represented by pan-Islam, another was secular nationalism represented by pan-Arabism. There was changing in balance of power between the two kinds of nationalism.In Chapter Five, the author addressed the radicalism in the Islamic diplomacy. The tendency of radicalism in the Islamic diplomacy existed in the beginner of Islam. With the west theory accepted by intellect and elite, Islamic radicalism was held back in some extend. However, the social bottom opposed the reality, since problem brought by modernization. They adopted their own theory and practice of diplomacy--radicalism-- differed from social ladder. After Iran revolution and Islamic fundamentals rising, radicalism became one of diplomacy feature in some Islamic countries. To some extent, radicalism had a huge impact on the whole Islam world in theory and practice of diplomacy.In Chapter Six, in order to show the relationship between diplomacy and Islam in modern history, the author gives the two paradigms, Iran and Saudi Arabia. Reviewing the history of the two countries, the aurher think that Islam in foreign policy will not contradict reality interests.Even Iran decleared its characters of Islam, it concerns its reality interests too.The conclusion point out the influence of religious culture, and forecasted the world order in the future. No matter what kind of society, there was affinity between religious culture and diplomacy. Religious culture had made strong impact on communication of civilizations between different civilizations. It would have effect on world order in future, too. The precondition of establishing harmonious world order is peaceful coexistence among various civilizations.
