Inquiry On Geo-politics In The Middle East Under The Rise Of IS

An extreme organization which named Islamic State rapidly rises in the Middle East turmoil.In order to achieve its fundamental purpose which is to establish a theocratic extreme Islamic country in the Middle East,it enforces strict Sharia to realize the Islamization.In its speedy development,it uses extremely cruel and outrageous measures.That causes the international society's highly concern for the rampant religious extremist groups.Therefore,it results in a military action against the Islamic State which started by the United States,Russia and more than 70 countries 'forces.The Islamic State's rise has brought a greater impact to originally turbulent pattern of the Middle East.Since antiquity,the Middle East has been a battleground with its critical geo-strategic value.So the geopolitical game in the Middle East becomes a key component of global geopolitical change.Recent years,the Middle East faces increasing conflicts between nations,religions and factions.And long-term continuous wars,make originally broken pattern more fragmentized.And the crazy rage of Islamic State extremism in Iraq and Syria has great impact on the broken situation in the Middle East,as well as provides an opportunity for powers to formally involve in the fight for Mid-Eastern interests on the pretext of anti-terrorist.Thus Mid-eastern geopolitics will face a new impact and change.It can more clearly see through the extremist essence of Islamic State to study the geopolitical reasons of Islamic State's rise from the perspective of geopolitics.And it can more clearly analyze the Mid-Eastern and even global geopolitical pattern's change to research how Islamic State's rise impacts on the Mid-Eastern geopolitics.The rampant of Islamic State terrorism has led to more turbulent Mid-Eastern geopolitical environment.And it has deep influence on the implementation of our big economic strategy which named the Belt and Road,since the Middle East has gradually become China's largest overseas energy supplying place,important export market of commodity and labor and engineering contracting market.In addition,China and the Middle East also has a very close geopolitical connection.So Mid-Eastern geopolitical change might bring our country greater chances and challenges,and has vast impact on the making and implementation of China's strategy in the Middle East.This article analysis the rise of the Mid-Eastern geopolitics pattern under the rise of Islamic State from the perspective of geopolitics with the combination of literature research method,system analysis method and the SWOT analysis method.The main part of the article is divided into four parts.In first part,this article has carried on the comprehensive description of Islamic State.It analyzes the geopolitical factors of Islamic State' rise,so does it on the development process and trend of IS.Secondly,it analyzes the impact of Islamic State' rise to the main groups in the Middle East.And it emphatically discusses the geopolitical impact of Islamic State' rise to the relationships of Iran-Iraq,Saudi Arabia-Iran and Syria-Turkey.In part three,mainly from inside and outside aspect,it concretely analyzes the Mid-Eastern geopolitical pattern changes under the rise of Islamic State.In the inside level,it mainly researches the impact of Islamic State' rise to three regional powers which headed by Saudi Arabia and Iran,then it is concluded that the current Mid-Eastern geopolitical pattern is both race to the top and another coming out.With rapid development momentum of " Post-nuclear Age "Iran and " Arab-leader " Saudi Arabia,this two powers endlessly deepen their contradiction for regional domination so that have turned from shadow war to war.Islamic countries cannot be completely eliminated due to the deep roots.The Political Islamism has becoming a new level in the Middle East pattern.In the outside level,through the discussion hot issues in the Middle East such as Islamic State counterterrorism military activities by US,EU,Russia and China.We can draw the outside has formed "two potential" four-pole " pattern."Two forces" refers both to the US and EU,and China and Russia formed the two forces in the Middle East,also referred to as the US and EU in the two trends of Russian influence in the Middle East.US and EU which influence in the Middle East has declined,but the pace of decline is different;both China and Russia's influence in the Middle East began to expand,but the expansion strategy is not the same,four-pole competition affects the latest situation in the Middle East.At last part,from the Mid-Eastern political changes,it makes SWOT analysis of Chinese opportunities and challenges to put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for our country's Middle East strategy.Although Russia's powerful return in Syria heavily blows Islamic State,the Islamic State's foundation still stands.It needs to take a long time to completely eliminate Islamic State and depends on the interests battle situation among great powers.Therefore,it is necessary to research the Mid-Eastern geopolitical pattern under the rise of Islamic State,and it could provide some reference and suggestions for China's participation in the Mid-Eastern regional security cooperation.
