Mao Shi Zheng Yi, which was managed by Kong Yingda, represented the highest achievements of Shi jing in Tang Dynasty. It brought out the profound influence in the history of Jing Xue and Chinese culture. Although the study of Shijing made great progress with some far-reaching masterpieces from Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, its academic achievement is actually worth of inquiring carefully as the summary of the study of Shijing before Tang Dynasty. The whole thesis includes five parts. The preface introduces the cases of writer, compilation process and the version of Mao Shi Zheng Yi. The thesis puts forward its own points on the matter that Yan Shigu once participated in compiling Wu Jing Zheng Yi. It is considered that Yan Shigu participated in compiling Wu Jing Zheng Yi at beginning, while he left at the year of Zhengg Guan 15. It analyzes the reason why he left. The first chapter discusses the succession and development of Mao Shi Zheng Yi. This paper takes an examination study of Shi jing annotaters and works during Han Dynasty, and it reviews the situation that Mao Shi Zheng Yi inherits the previous academic resources rather than only obeys the old notes .It deserves new opinions in some concrete academic problems. It is just the general idea for"Shu Bu Po Zhu".The second chapter discusses Kong Yingda's view of arrangement order and deep compilation problem. He considered Da Shi as the major compiler and he disapproved that Confucius crossed out the Shi Jing. The view of Kong Yingda is that Da Shi can distinguish different civilization reflected by poets and ultimately arranged elaborately Shi Jing in Civilization order. The order of the Shi Jing manifests the development of civilization through the Feng Ya and Song even the"Zheng Shi"of feng and Ya. Kong Yingda brought out the point that Da Shi can get the emotion after listening based on the view of the cooperation of poet and music. The third chapter analyzes educational theory system of Mao Shi Zheng Yi. Shi Jing is considered as one book carefully compiled and fully civilized. Surrounding the Civilization, Kong Yingda constructed a comparatively intact theory's explanation system. The content of Civilization thought about Mao Shi Zheng Yi is Confucianisitic moral and ethic ideology. He thought that poem and music were the most effective means because people can be easily moved by the education of poet and music. He advanced a comparative-integated theory of Xing Qing, thinking that the root of education's success relies on transforming human being's temperament, that is to say, converting people's temperament from evil to good. The content of the"Xing Qing"includes the followings: Qi is the body of Xing Qing. People were divided to nine grades according to the degree of Xing Qing and persons within seven grades can be educated. Governor should set a good example for his people and construct the harmonious society. Changing the temperament of people from bad to good is the main reason of the success of education. Kong Yingda made the theory of Shi Jiao reach a new top through melting the theory of Xing Qing into the theory of Shi Jiao and studied the basic truth of function in education, which is the symbol of success in the academic system. The scholars since Song Dynasty studied the poets by temperament had very close connection with Mao Shi Zheng Yi.The fourth chapter analyzes Kong's view on poem. Generally speaking, Kong inherited the theory of Jing Xue. He insisted that poem should mirror politics and requested that Poem should take the function of satirizing Politics. Meanwhile, Kong realized that the fundamental aim is not just for satirizing, but also for displaying one's own will. The function of political poets conciliated with the new theory of Six Dynasty which is manifested in kong's theory of poets. The thesis particularly discussed about the theory of"Affection consists with Will". Many scholars hold the view that Affection is the same as the Will. Anyhow we think that"Affection consists with Will"is just from angle of creation by Kong. Kong thought that the consistent dues to the point that the inner feeling is expressed by poets, which is called expression theory. But the Will expressed by Kong is the affection restricted by comity resulted by political education which is different from the Affection in Wei Jin Period. The Affection is not the same as the Will in the Poet theory of Kong. The chapter also includes the discussion of"Fa fen"when creating poets. It researches the roots of"Fa Fen"and it is considered that"Fa Fen"means that writer expresses their feeing by way of literature in order to relieve their oppression. The theory of"Fa Fen"manifests the principle of literary creation from the angle of psychology."Fen"is equal to"Impulsion"in literary glossary nowadays. Meanwhile Kong also thought that the process of"Fa Fen"is also the process of"Express Will".Both of them came true when the feeling is expressed by language."Fen"emphasizes the accumulation of affection of writer, while"Will"points to the affection itself."Will"and"Fen"is the impetus of creation which makes the"Express Will"consists with"Fa Fen". Kong thought that the poets came out from expressing feeling in order to remove the bad moods, which manifests the essence of literature and success of Kong's theory. The appendix researches the generation of Kong Yingda and his forefather KongTeng and Kong Anguo. There is no recognized saying about the generation of Kong Yingda. The thesis thinks that Kong Yingda is the 32th generation of Confucius. There is large diverge about the generation of Kong Teng and Kong Anguo in the History records. The thesis testifies it in detail and corrects errors of generation of Confucius in the History records.
