A Study On Duyi-Fu In Past Dynasties

Duyi-Fu(rhyme prose on cities) is a vital theme in Chinese Fu history. Depicting onmetropolis' political, social and cultural life, Duyi-Fu has a bright regional characteristics,and is still animate nowadays.This article divides into four chapters. The first chapter carries on a literaturecollection and carding on the extant Duyi-Fu from Han to Qing Dynasty; throughtext-analysis, this chapter also gives a research on the development and evolution ofDuyi-Fu, and summarizing the characteristics and cause of formation of ancientDuyi-Fu. Adopting a research method of statistics, the second chapter probes into theevolving process of regions depicted in Duyi-Fu, maintaining that this process takes on anorth-towards-south trend, which, is consistent with the process of Chinese ancienteconomic and cultural center. Besides, this chapter also chooses out some Duyi-Fu full ofbright regional feature as example, revealing their regional culture characteristics.Thethird chapter discusses the connotation of metropolis culture that Duyi-Fu represents,including its notion of city layout, the cultural connotation of architecture, and the citypolitical economy, folk custom and official etiquette. The fourth chapter sums up theimportant meanings and values that Duyi-Fu owns on literature and culture.This article attaches great importance on text analysis, and adopts research methodslike listing, statistics, concluding and so on, also paying attention to lengthways andcrosswise research of time and space, in order to achieve a round and deep study on thedevelopment and evolution of ancient Duyi-Fu, thus revealing its literature idiosyncrasyand value and cultural connotation.
