Jin Guang Da Dao: The Literary Discourse Stipulated By Political Ideology Catalogue

As one of the singular novels that was written by an individual writer in the period of institutional revolution of China, Jin Guang Da Dao represents the writing concept of the mainstream ideology of the literary works at that time. Also, as a context with strong political flavor and was published at the special period of institutional revolution, Jin Guang Da Dao has ever aroused great attention and disputes and it will defirfitely bring a lot of discussions hereafter. The above reasons contribute to the important status of Jin Guang Da Dao in Chinese Literary History. Based on the relationship between the subjective and objective elements of the emergence of the context, ideology and language, political discourse and folk discourse, expression and reception, and the theories of Marxism ideology criticism, broad-sensed rhetoric and functional linguistics, this dissertation aims at making a complete and thorough analysis on the discourse of Jin Guang Da Dao on the following five parts, that is, the implication of ideology and the ideologized language of the novel; the rhetorical gene of native language; narration discourse mode in the process of political aesthetic; conversations in political context; and defilading and clearing up of literary works from political discourse. The details are as follows:Proceed from the recognition that political culture always hold up an important role in Chinese traditional culture,â… try to demonstrate the deep-seated reason of the fact that political novels are always well-identified by the mass.The ideological language of the novel was discussed from the aspects of the power of discourse production, discourse semeiotics and the pattern of discourse on the basis of an identification on the social attribute that literature itself is an ideology.According to the close relations between narration discourse and ideology, the rhetorical conformation of the narration discourse was discussed.According to the relations between leading roles in the political context, the political conversation mode in Jin Guang Da Dao was explored.And from the angle of artistic aesthetics and reception,â… analyzed the restriction of political ideology to the writers' artistic creation and pointed out the disadvantages of,language in this novel.In light of the above analysis, this dissertation has explored the success and failure of Jin Guang Da Dao from the discourse level.
