Reconstruction And Study Of A Matrix Formation Of 64 Diagrams Of The Book Of Change.

This thesis researched on a theme of reconstructing a Matrix-Diagrams-Formation that equivalent to the existing Linear-Diagrams-Formation of sixty four Diagrams of The Book of Change.An assumption was adopted through a research angle,based on theory and historical records,to reconstructing a Matrix-Diagrams-Formation which was equivalent to that of The Book of Change in construction principle,I Ching ideology,and thereupon for exploring the origin of The Book of Change.This thesis adopted The Book of Change as an independent literature object,researched on its pattern of Diagrams-Formation, including its method of construction,process of formation,being categorized under studies of original literature researched at the period before Qin dynasty.By studying the Book of Change's early state prior to its accomplishment,from a viewpoint of its constructional method,this research was also being categorized under fundamental I Ching studies.The core argument of this thesis was"The existence of a Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change".Through reconstructing one successfully,this thesis illustrated such possibility of its existence in theory.Chapter One posted few questions,in three aspects,reflected such possibilities that a Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change might be existed.First,historical records such as ShiJi,ZhouLi,TianJianYiXue,had provided some inspirations concerning its existence.Second.Diagrams-Formations arose after the accomplishment of The Book of Change were all appeared to be Matrix-Diagrams-Formations,unlike The Book of Change, stood as the origin and earliest in history,was a Linear-Diagrams-Formation,which violated the general principle in development lineage of Diagrams-Formations.Third.HeTu and LuoShu,used to be one of the standard version of the origin of Eight Diagrams, together with the ShaoYong's FuXi Sixty-Four Diagrams,both appeared as pairing twin images,implied that there might be another twin Diagrams-Formation existed without known.These three points had rendered a rational projection and suggesting the possibility for existence of such Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change.Chapter Two elaborated the constructional principle of the inner structure of a Diagram-Formation.illustrated regular position of certain Diagrams added to be Common Layouts stipulated therein,was meant to be an even minute,elementary arrangement units. Such Common Layouts were also served as a mode of formulated I Ching ideology expressed within a Diagram-Formation.Such Common layouts,together with the content of the Diagram-Formations,and the upper-lower Eight Diagrams constituting the Diagram-Formations,were three undividable interactive elements.Thus Diagram positions that constituting such Common Layouts were capable to act as a tool to reconstruct a Diagram-Formations,providing a possibility to reconstructing a Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change.Chapter Three posted three similar methods,through the rearrangement of Common Layouts within a Diagram-Formation,reformed to a Diagram-Formation that expressed the entire I Ching ideology equal to that of The Book of Change.As such,a reconstructing of a Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change was successfully established.Next, by constructing enormous numbers of Diagrams-Formations from Eight Diagrams modules derived from ShuoGuaZhuan,also obtained the same Matrix-Diagrams-Formation compared from the previous method,manifested a consistent result.Chapter four.Five aspects of differentiate and analyse were applied to examine the existence of the reconstructed Matrix-Diagrams-Formation and that of The Book of Change was tenable.First,construction principle shown in both Diagram-Formations was equivalent.Second,I Ching ideology expressed in both Diagram-Formations was also equivalent.Third,the nature of origin was equivalent in both Diagram-Formations.Fourth, classification of I Ching school in both Diagram-Formations was again equivalent.Fifth. historical records was rendered equivalent in both Diagram-Formations.Chapter five.The reconstructed Matrix-Diagrams-Formation,not only provided an reinterpretation for"ZhouWenWang evolved I Ching",commonly known as the origin of The Book of Change,which was recorded in ShiJi,also constituted a mutual-proof between itself and literature reference.Once again it had rationalized the possibility of existence of this Matrix-Diagrams-Formation.Chapter Six was a concise conclusion,summarized all previous chapters and concluded to the existence of such Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change could be tenable theoretically.Chapter Seven,as the research value of this thesis,the reconstructed Matrix-Diagrams-Formation of The Book of Change were also served as a new research model,once again probing into fundamental studies of the origin of The Book of Change. Three classic questions were then reexamined thereof,as the summary and ending of this thesis.First,possibility of existence of any other I Ching school of thoughts prior to The Book of Change? Second,possibility of existence of a single formulae that capable of constructing the Diagram-Formation of The Book of Change?Third,was the nature of The Book of Change a book of divination,or philosophies?Answers were provided therein.
