The rudiment of this colony came into being in Jin Dynasty. In Yuan Dynasty, Li Yuehu appeared formally in historical stage. As far as the Taoist Li Yuehu during Ming and Qing Dynasty are concerned, on one hand, they brought trouble to the emperor; on the other hand, they brought obvious influence on the official Liyue of feudal China and the ritual music of Taoist. Sacrificed Liyue is a kind of compositive performing arts. Zhong and Qing are important symbols of it. There are three functions in Sacrificed Liyue, e.g. political function, sacrifice function and educational function. Since Qin and Han Dynasty, Sacrificed Liyue, only have been used for the capital's official sacrifices in principle. From Song Dynasty, things changed. Under the limit of official system, similar edition of Confucian Shrine Music can be carried out not only in the capital, but also in the local governments. To Sacrificed Liyue, serving for the official sacrifices is the main function. So, the style of Sacrificed Liyue had to accord with its main function.
