Research On The Design Methods Of Digital Cultural Heritage Based On Information Visualization

Digital cultural heritage(DCH) means to protect human's remembering and enhance information perception. And information visualization(IV), data mining and graphic design are the important tools to solve information anxiety problems caused by quantitative data, dispersive digital cultural heritage protection status.The paper focuses on the study of information visualization design method in DCH and provides an Information Visualization model which includes information management, information representation and information communication in the DCH projects.The paper emphasizes Information Visualization's importance, feasibility and complexity for information understanding, analyzes the existing cultural heritage's information deconstruction of time flow and reconstruction of space scene in DCH information visualization process from data acquiring, parsing, filtering, mining, representing, refining and interaction. The research challenge is that the inner construction factors about culture context and outside restriction factors about Cultural Heritage Zeitgeist which both create the information design context have weak relationship with each other. The paper focuses on analyzing the correspondence principles between the heritage fact and data essence and provides about thirty data structures for information designers. Through Information Visualization, DCH reveals rational intelligence in Science, emotional intelligence in Humanities and visual intelligence of Perception and Recognition in Social Sciences & Humanities. From fact to essence through information visualization, we need to think the essence of cultural heritage globally and act locally, explore new visual representation forms and human-computer interaction design methods to carry forward the DCH projects, actively reveal the relationship of the inner construction factors about culture context and outside restriction factors about Cultural Heritage Zeitgeist and achieve the culture systematic preservation, heritage sustainable development and civilization effective broadcasting.
