The Study On Ci Collectanea Of Ming Dynasty

Ci poem came into a decline period in Ming dynasty and was ignored by scholars for quite a long time.In fact,the large numbers of Ci anthology threw great influences on the whole history of literature.Their value should be seriously analyzed and searched.The developing of Ci Collectanea contacts with that of culture,literature,as well as ideology in Ming dynasty.Through the study of prefaces and notations,it turns out that large amounts of different editions always have similar selecting systems and distributions(mainly distributed by booksellers).There are clearly two camps of Ci Collectanea in Ming dynasty:system of Cao Tang Shi Yu and the outside ones.The first camp are more popular,starts by Zeng Xiu Jian Zhu Miao Xuan Qun Ying Cao Tang Shi Yu,printed by Zun Zheng Shu Tang.The contents of this book conformed to the old one which published in South Song Dynasty.Although,as the first edition,it went around widely among almost one and a half century and never vanished after Gu Congjing edition came out.For example,it was cut to be a new book named Cao Tang Shi Yu Bie Lu by ZhangYan in the empire's middle age.Cao Tang Shi Yu of Gu Congjing edition was the representation of Ci Collectanea in Ming dynasty.His work meliorated old editions in many aspects,such as added amounts, newly arranged order etc.thus,it made no doubt of that many booksellers followed him in hundreds years,especially the one commented by Shen JiFei by the end of Ming dynasty.Besides Cao Tang Shi Yu editions,there are also a great deal of valuable anthologies, twenty-one books contained in this thesis.Important ones are separated in sections,part from those less ones.Bai Jia Ci and Song Ming Jia Ci preserved important data;Bai Bei Ming Zhu and Ci Lin Wan Xuan;Hua Cao Xin Bian and Hua Cao Cui Bian both developed a school of their own.Lei Bian Jian Shi Guo Chao Shi Yu,which compiled by Qian Yunzhi was the first Ci collectanea of Ming dynasty itself.Further more,Cao Tang Shi Yu Xin Ji was the most elaborated anthology.To be clear,discussing of the rest works are divided into block-printed editions and transcriptions. Take all in all,pioneering by He Shixin system collectanea,editions of Gu Congjing system became main force of the general anthology of poetry,made great acceptance in present time as well as aftertime;outside editions were not as good as systems of Cao Tang Shi Yu,although,each of them made new innovations in various ways.Later Ci anthologies had learned a lot from that of this period ether in imitation or rectification.
