The Study On Ci Collectanea Of Qing Dynasty

The first half of this thesis is the general statement of the Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty. Qing Dynasty is a highly prosperous period of the Ci collectanea, and has its own vivid characteristics on the basis of succeeding the attainments of the previous dynasties. The Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty are superior to those of all the previous dynasties in both quality and quantity, and tend to completeness in both system and content. Many reasons make contributions to the prosperity of the Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty, such as the Qing Dynasty's academic background, prosperity of Ci and its discipline, Qing Scholars' strong awareness of recording the literature and development of the publishing and printing industry.The general status of the Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty includes its constituting elements and main body. The former consists principally of the sequencing, Ci literature of the appendices, references, prefaces, biographies of the Ci authors, reviews, notes, and number of the Ci works and authors as well as works of editors; the main body comprises the sources, types and authors of the selection of the Ci collectanea. The knowledge of the general status of the Qing Ci collectanea paves way to the further study thereof.The Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty are characterized by group and region. The group character is not only present but the most obvious in the Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty. The cause of edition, processing, publication and dissemination of the Ci collectanea are closely related to the group character. However, the region character is unique only in the Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty. In Qing dynasty, the distribution of the Ci collectanea has the region character to some extent, for instance, they mainly concentrated in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Moreover, there were some of the Ci collectanea that only collected the Ci works in a special place.The Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty and creation are closely related with the Ci comments. The Ci collectanea guide the Ci writing and advance the Ci format. Some of the Ci comments are sourced from the prefaces and notes of the Ci collectanea of Qing Dynasty.
