This paper deals with the mentality experience of modern Chinese writer Zhou-zuoren from an avant-courier to a traitor. Trying to anolyze the perspective of the subject through a comprehensive isometric describing system, on the horizontal dimension, the paper parses the connotation in his works,seeing about the brotherhood full of kind and enmity between Zhou-zuoren and Lu-xun,analyzes his profound love knot about Japan civilization, anatomises his words and deeds in the war between China and Japan, parses the profound cause of his becoming culture traitor and his attitude about own political slip.On the vertical dimension, the paper hopes to investigate Zhou-zuoren's antilogy and culture intention course that accumulates from history, and analyze its significance and problems encountered in the current transformation period of the whole literature and culture.The introduction briefly defines the concept "the antilogy and culture experiences of Zhou-zuoren's political slip", utmost individualism which is the research object of the paper, and also briefly analyzes its complex relations to the classical freedom in ancient Chinese literature as well as to the origin of the Western individualism.Through theoretically clearing up the status quo of the topic in recent years, the paper proposes the research goal and its theoretical significance.Chaper 1 analyzes Zhou-zuoren's ideal standpoint and culture intention during the period of "wusi" through the four facets that are "the bourgeoning of rebounding folk culture more important than country's rise and fall", "great ideal about 'New country'", "become a socialistic theorey authority" and "tillaging in 'the loneliness literary world'". As a person of consequence in China contemporary literature and anamnesis history, Zhou-zuoren animadverts on traditional literature and culture of China.Chaper 2 expatiates on Zhou-zuoren and Lu-xun's ideaistic transformation during the period of their relations from harmonization to estrangedness through the three facets that are "matey brothers became distant", "Zhou-zuoren's dumbness theory" and "became reconciled". After the brothers' parting, one becomes a fighter in desert, the other becomes a passenger dodging in "bitter rain" room. He dodges in study, walking up to a unintelligible road.Chaper 3 thoroughly discusses the road of Zhou-zuoren's becoming one modern hermit from a champion in "wusi" through the five facets that are "the road from Kong-rong to Tao-yuanming", "something leaving behind by a fighter", "from 'cross street'to study", "We are in the transition age forever" and "I don't believe the mass". As a culture "renegade" during the period of "wusi", Zhou-zuoren gradually turns into a hermit who switches to own garden plot along with epoch variance. He holds individual standard merit conception as his mentality nubbin.As a representative liberalism intellectual in 20th century of China, Zhou-zuoren gradually becomes a nous writer. He is famous for not seeking fame and wealth, but nous clear and bright. He especially regards the instauration of highbrow civilization tradition, as a participant in "wusi" enlightening movement. This kind of massive culture love knot brings on some impractical conceit by Zhou-zuoren. He accepts the face of "jianghu" civilization, exceeding national boundaries and nationality. He moves back deep and remote or close surroundings, searching for his bailment about spirit, ideal and civilization......Chaper 5 construes the road of Zhou-zuoren's being a big culture traitor through the four facets that are "feeling of glide and setting sun", "excessively cherish own feather", "selling soul to devil" and "owes to Chinese". Though Zhou-zuoren alleges "wish to be a shepherd as Su-wu" at one time or another, he eventually isn't able to bear or endure the lure of Japaese. He turns into a folk malefactor because of his "owes about Chinese". This chaper analyzes the badness of literature from historical lay. China tradition intellectual's nationality culture consciousness and the act of nation existent morality and justice are obscuration or inversion in his eye.This paper concludes that the culture experiences of Zhou-zuoren's political slip are not only the tokens of his complex and paradoxical psychology due to his helpless dilemma during the courses of meeting and mixing between tradition and modern times, but also his observing and cognizing of the ambivalent survival environment between country resisting aggression and his surrender, which implicate Chinese modern liberty intellectual's realistic tergiversation and deep desperation about the history, people and country.Permeating modern Chinese writer Zhou-zuoren's mentality experience variance from an avant-courier to a traitor, we can appreciate the process about consciousness of Chinese modern times, we can peek the flank of accepting history on Chinese contemporary literature. Literators' culture intention and accept or reject of importance are clearly existing.The complexity, conflicts, paradoxes and hardness of intellectual's mental courses and thinking evolution that are contained in the culture experiences of the modern Chinese writer Zhou-zuoren, are exactly the spirit footprints of the current hard-transforming of China's culture and literature.
