During Spring and Autumn period, with the economic, politics and culture has eliminated and created, some of the distinctive features were increasingly prominent, such as a challenge private to public, the birth of advocate utilitarian value-oriented system and the disintegration of traditionary status and emolument. Shang Yang, who was to safeguard the interests of the emerging landlord class, on the base of Confucian, Taoist, Mexico and other various social ideality's analysis and reflection, on the base of human nature and changed history, built his own social ideality.Shang Yang's social ideality covers three areas: On the value standard, he thinks that the law should replace moral people's social cognition, social emotional, social behavior and social customs; On the value orientation, he advocates nationalism morality as the law supported, and has given the Confucian morality as part of a new connotation; On the value of principle, for enriching the national power is the highest position, advocated worship, emphasizes the unity of the spirit of law and feats. Undeniably, Shang Yang's social ideality contains the negative factors in a certain extent, (The law is difficult to integrate with the natural economy, the spirit of endogenous feats defects), which brings into contact with Qin Empire of premature death. Objectively speaking, this new social ideality also has a positive impact on future generations, stubbornly pushing the process which integration of Confucianism and Legalism; protruding the fair spirit of law in the contemporary socialist democracy and the rule of law is worth learning. It should be said, Shang Yang's social ideality and the human pursuit the long-term goals are coincide, but it is always hidden behind the scenes in history, because Shang Yang does not deal dialectical relationship with morality and law.
