The Deduction Itinerary Of Red State Myth

The government invested considerable human and material resources to carry out the national-scale reform of traditional Chinese opera after the founding of the People's Republic of China,which made Drama occupy the predominant position in the Chinese literary creation and become the best vector of spreading socialist ideology during "the seventeen years " (1949-1966).Generally, the reform of traditional repertoire,new historical play and modern Chinese opera which were carried out simultaneously in 1949 organized the movement. In fact, they became the object of concern one by one during the procession basing on the needs of government. As the showing of the fruit of reform , nationwide drama display were carried out by government in 1952 and 1964. The changement of the proportion among traditional repertoire,new historical play and modern Chinese opera on the meetings conveied a message: the real purpose of the reform is to choose the best way of constructing the perfect " new proletarian literature and art" in drama field.Basing on the establishment of the legitimacy of red regime, this dissertation sets out to research the formulation process from two levels:the so-called horizontal research is to verify methods and characteristics of the penetration and establishment of the mainstream ideology in the three different fields of drama ; the so-called vertical explore is to illustrate the reason of chosing modern Chinese opera being the best vector of constructing red state myth by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the three different themes of drama...
