Art exhibition gradually become the main form of paintings display to public,after introduced into china.It is the operation modern of art exhibition that paintings was displayed and directly marketed at the same time.Therefore,it became important channel of art communication and the means of paintings distribution.Cultural character and commercial character were dual property of art exhibition.Since the Operation Model of Exhibiting and Marketing carried out simultaneously,art exhibition played an important role in the processes of modern transformation in the art history of China.The dissertation discussed the Art Exhibition in the earlier 20th centuries as the subject investigated by collecting,sorting and analyzing the original material.It also researched the impact to the art communication based on contemporary academic achievement.The paper firstly described the phenomenon of art exhibitions displaying and distributing the paintings in detail,and discussed the art exhibition's dual property of cultural character and commercial character.Its profound influence to art communication,art marked cultivation,and paintings style evolution were investigated subsequently.Academic value and the historical significance in the process of modern transformation in the art history of China was further explanation.
