This research has a study on the theory and practice for interactive exhibition design.The research begins with a summary of the exhibition concept and interactive theory.Then,the research explains the present development in exhibition design,identifies the problems existed presently.It further analyzes the subject-object relationship in interactive design,and comes to a more effective design approach by combining the research achievements in exhibition design of contemporary interactive research,case contrast and consideration.In the end,from the researcher's own practice in exhibition design projects,the research discusses the importance and necessity of interaction in exhibition design.In the exhibition course,the mutual promotion and influence among the audience, sponsor,visitor and commodities are mutual-action course.The consciously positive interaction course is the interactive design on the exhibition design.A perfect communication on information will be realised through this interactive cooperation.Among so many interactions,there exist a lot of interactive relationships which are complex and closely-related.The research chooses the key factors of people(the audience) and commodities(exhibition display and exhibition environment) as its research object and focuses on the relationship between these two factors.On the contrary,interactive exhibition is becoming more and more popular.In interactive exhibition the principle role is the audience rather than the exhibiting articles.And because it places the audience to a key position,this interactive exhibition is becoming widely welcomedInfluenced by the traditional ideas,we have put too much stress on the educational research function and the function of spreading knowledge and ideas,which has caused the themes of exhibition too serious and the exhibition styles too stiff.The exhibition style of most exhibition halls is becoming unpopular,the stand,the articles plus the labels being still the main exhibition style.Elegance,coolness and unfriendliness is what most audience feel in such exhibitions.As individuals,we wouldn't like it that the audience receive the messages passively in the exhibition,where the audience have to receive the messages the way the organizers have already planned.As a style of living,the audience should have the right to make their own choices and we should try to raise their awareness of making their choices and their awareness of independence,to get the audience really involved.In the rise of interactive also revealed another problem,we often just blind pursuit of interactive technology is technology,to show the audience on the theme of sense to ignore,this is an urgent need to show us the law and interactive way to explore.Finaly,based on his own understanding from practice,the researcher discusses and realises several tactics of the interaction in the exhibition design listed below:A.based on the theme interactive design.Demonstrate the nature of the theme from the start,according to choose a different theme of the exhibition display,such as:show the process,structure display,integrated display,and so on,develop appropriate interactive design strategy.B.Based on the audience-centralization interaction.According to the audience and display their own way exchanges between classified,such as:-visit,touch-type,operation of,respectively,to design the interaction of different strategies.C.Based on digital-information and combining designer's practice.From the display mode of transmission of classified media,such as:static media,video media,the media were to simulate the interaction of different design strategies.The deep meaning of this thesis is that the interactive design is a new design way for exhibition.Its basic spirit is to initiate democracy and opening,respect and communication, assistance and mutual benefit.
