This thesis concern with the up and down of realistically writing fiction in the beginning of 20's century, which corresponds to the non-realistically writing fiction. Author adapts from "Utopia" imago to discuss the ideal world based on western society, using "Disease" imago to perceptive the mentors' nation saving thought, using "flying vehicle" to represent the scientific idea of countrymen, using "female hero" to discover the power of changing the society. Explore the transformation of the traditional character of the fiction in the late Qing Dynasty in the process of modernizing character. Actually ,this kind of research has very important role in opening out the relationship between aesthetics and tradition of the modern fiction, because it present in which aspect ,by what means, under what condition the aesthetics resource of traditional fiction .We can review a series of complicated forms of 20 century's Chinese fiction behind modern historical narration , hackle another development trajectory different from what described by traditional fiction history, let people see clearly the growing up procedure of Chinese modern fiction. Besides, by researching non-realistically writing fiction, we can show how the idea "reality" come into Chinese culture, how the modern culture tradition of realism come into being, refer to this, observe the gain and loss of modern realistically writing fiction.
