In the paper,the Doctrine of LI(principle) by Tsuxi is reexplained in the view of Hominology,which shows the core thought of the Doctine of Li(principle) by Tsu Xi, who was to give the definition of Human beings.The human being was the oneness of Fresh and Moral.In the traditional Confucian idea,the human being was as being for Heaven,the heaven was the basical of human being'life.Due to Buddhism and Taoism's challenge in the Dynasties of WeiJin,Sui and Tang;the rise of the tend of seeking truth;the debasements of the proper authorities and the models of morality,the Heaven footing was in oppugnation in Southern Sung China.What is Man and Why Man is being was the theme of Sung Dynasty.How to make a ideal man and become a moral man became the immediate problem of life in ideologists.Tsuxi succeeded to the Doctrine of Li(principle) by Ercheng in criticism, assimilated the ideological pattern of the Middle Way of Buddhism and the theory of Xinxing of Huxiang School,had a systemic research into the essence of Man and its meaning, elevated the rationality of Man,and reestablished the basement of Man's existence.Tsuxi believed that Man as being resulted from Li(principle),Li(principle) existed in the world and Man's life,all the things had the same Li(principle),which resulted from the same original in ontology.Meantime,every body of Man and things which had a specific Li(principle), self-sufficient,came into being with Qi. Therefore,Man and Universe existed harmoniously,which could be called "Li-yi-fen-shu".In the relationship of Heaven,Earth and Man,each of the three was limitied,and Man as one of them,together with the others,made a life philosophy.In the system,Man was the core,who was able to represent the life and Universe.Thus,Man could understand Li and Tao,for Man had Li and Qi.As for the nature of Man,Man had nature and emotions,which also were essence-function and substance-function.When Man was born,he had the nature of quietness,when Man had no consideration,the state of heart was nature;when Man took a consideration, the state of heart were emotions,and heart decided nature and emotions of Man.Tsuxi explained the theory of Taoti with the different denotations of Li such as:Li could be fortune as for Heaven, nature as for Man,which were co-existences.Man had the attitude of honesty on Natue of Man and Fortune of Heaven.Tsuxi combined the theory of LiQi with XinXing on the co-existence relationship between Nature and Qi.Tsuxi also succeeded to propositions of Nature of Tianming and Qizhi.Tsuxi thought that goodness and evil could be talked respectively,goodness was superorganic noumenon; evil was the reality of Qi.Goodness was not in the same equal arrangement with evil,which ended the long arguments of goodness and evil.Tsuxi thought that the human being as the existence had the natural basement,and while nature of the human being was the inner basement of human being. With the detailed analysis of LiQi and XinXing,Tsuxi made sure the ultimate truth of human beings,and at the same time gave the aim of human life.Tsuxi thought that human beings should strived for being sages from birth to death.Though the practice of keeping modest attitude, Ge-wu-zhi-zhi,and oneness of Zhi and Xing,Tsuxi established the Doctrince of Li(principle)...
