Psycho-informatics Engineering (PIE) was a brand-new, interdisciplinary field that relates to psychology, information science, mathematics, engineering and other sciences. This paper showed just the findings of writer's serial researches about PIE's philosophy, substance and methodology. Not only that, it also used a research instance, Leader's Trust in Subordinate in Chinese corporations, to concretely annotate the concepts, contents, methods and application values of PIE.The paper included two parts:The first part was consisted of two chapters that focus on PIE's concepts, contents and methods. Referring to Popper's element analysis principle, the paper assigned all the "beings" into three ontologically independent sub-worlds, which were reality-world, information-world and mentality-world. Based on that, it introduced the concept of "psycho-information" according to the diggability, representability and measurability of "information". Then "Psycho-informatics Engineering" just meaned the entire body of the researches about the psycho-information and its application values. In fact, for the requirements of engineering, it would be most important to employ an accurate and appropriate way to describe the universal uncertainty of the psycho-information. So the paper investigated the randomness and the fuzziness of psycho-information, and synthesized the methods of stochastic analysis and fuzzy analysis together, then put them into the applications of the PIE. That made PIE formed a relatively integrated system. The second part was consisted of six chapters. They concretely annotated the ideas and methodology the first part mentioned by means of a research instance—Leader's Trust in Subordinate (LTS) in Chinese corporations. Simply speaking, for the corporations, the trust between leaders and subordinates was a kind of important psycho-information resources, and it gave supports to managerial decisions. But the relative researches mainly concerned on STL (Subordinates' Trust in Leader), seldom involved LTS. This disequilibrium brought difficulties to not only the theoretical research but the applications and practices. So it caused this paper chosen LTS in Chinese corporations as the topic of the instance. The instance employed a formalize way to describe "trust" and then expanded the researches from three levels:The first level answered the question "WHY we study LTS". It included only one research (Research 1), the results showed, LTS and STL were not symmetrical in the hierarchical relationship. Since the researches about STL were rather rich, it would be necessary to study LTS systematically. The second level answered the question "WHAT is LTS". It included five researches (Research 2 to 6). Research 2 and 3 concerned the structure of LTS and the weight distribution of the structural factors. They both depicted the static characteristics of LTS. Then, Research 4 studied the influencing factors of LTS, Research 5 and 6 respectively investigated the influence in LTS from the cooperative behavior and the third-party effects through computer simulation and field work. They three depicted the dynamic characteristics of LTS.The third level leaded LTS into the human resource decisions in corporations, and answered the question "HOW to utilize LTS". It included two researches (Research 7 and 8). According to the results of computer simulation, Research 7 found the LTS, a decision strategy possessed the heuristics features, was adaptive to support the human resource decisions by conditioning, and its performance even beyond the traditional personnel assessment. Research 8 designed and developed the relative computer software of the human resource decision support tools. These empirical researches annotated the ideas and methodology of PIE's, and at the same time systematically investigated the construction and development of LTS in Chinese corporations. Moreover, they also treated LTS as a heuristic decision strategy and introduce it to human resource decisions in corporations. That not only showed the feasibility of the application of heuristics in corporations, but implied the human's psychological or behavioral mechanism could be the blueprint of the design of applied computer softwares. Besides, in the end of the paper, the writer reflected the insufficiency of the researches, and forwarded several proposes to PIE.
