The Study On Linguistic Documents Written By Zhengqiao(郑樵)

Zhengqiao(郑樵) main wrote three books on Linguistic Documents,including Liushulue(六书略),Qiyinlue(七音略),and Eryazhu(尔雅注).This paper includes four parts,and there are their abstracts below:Chapter One:The Summary of the Learning about Zhengqiao(郑樵).It gives an outline of the learning styles in Nansong Dynasty(南宋) and the living of Zhengqiao(郑樵).Chapter Two:The Study on Liushulue(六书略).Liushulue(六书略) is an important turning point in the history of Liushuxue(六书学).There are four parts:Liushutu(六书图),Liushuxu(六书序),the Chinese Character collections classified by Liushu(六书),and the pandect with 22 articles.Liushutu(六书图) is a worthless directory made by diagrammatic forms.Liushuxu(六书序) and the pandect with 22 articles,touch upon some theories,such as Liushu(六书),Zimu(子母) and Shuhuatongyuan(书画同源),etc. The Chinese Character collections classified by Liushu(六书) have abbreviated paraphrase,most of them have phonetic notations.Liushulue(六书略) is one link of Liushuxue(六书学) in history,but the others limited value.Liushu(六书) is one of the Chinese Character theories,but not all.We sum up the transmutation of Liushu(六书) and the arguments directed at Liushulue(六书略).We analyze the pandect with 22 articles, and find some theories about the Chinese Character,which touch upon the shape,voice and meaning of Chinese character and the contrast of Sanskrit with Chinese.We obtain the precise e-text of Liushulue(六书略) entered word by word.Used by the database of the Chinese Character collections classified by Liushu(六书),we have investigated the source of Fanqie(反切) in Liushulue(六书略).There was more than half of Fanqie(反切) in Liushulue(六书略) coming from Leipian(类篇),and in addition to this,the others come separately from Shuowen(说文),Yupian(玉篇),Jiyun(集韵),and so on.Chapter Three:The Study on Qiyinlue(七音略).Qiyinlue(七音略) is one of the earlier Yuntus(韵图) few in number.There are three parts:Qiyinxu(七音序),Xieshengzhiziliutu(谐声制字六图) and Neiwaizhuantu(内外转图).As a preface, Qiyinxu(七音序) introduces something of Qiyinlue(七音略) roughly,and reflects some linguistic thinking of Zhengqiao(郑樵).Xieshengzhiziliutu(谐声制字六图) was created by Zhengqiao(郑樵) himself,including six tables which conclude the relations of Chinese Characters with their sounds.Neiwaizhuantu(内外转图) is the main part of Qiyinlue(七音略),so that some scholars equate it with Qiyinlue(七音略) in all. Neiwaizhuantu(内外转图) was subjoined,altered,and followed from Qiyinyunjian(七音韵鉴),not created by Zhengqiao(郑樵) himself.There have been some research findings of Neiwaizhuantu(内外转图) in form of comparative studies,but few study of Qiyinxu(七音序) and Xieshengzhiziliutu(谐声制字六图).We analyze Qiyinxu(七音序),sum up the research findings of Qiyinlue(七音略),and quest Xieshengzhiziliutu(谐声制字六图).It will be hard to have any breakthrough on Neiwaizhuantu(内外转图),and we can chase leaks and fill a vacancy with the help of the crutch of Qiyinxu(七音序) and Xieshengzhiziliutu(谐声制字六图) as the object of the study.In the Study on Qiyinxu(七音序),we consider that the system of Zimu(字母) was emerged ahead of Yuntu(韵图), and that Qiyinxu(七音序) is a clues to Qiyin(七音).In the study on Xieshengzhiziliutu(谐声制字六图),we think about the idea of Qiyin(七音) further,and we assent the understanding that Qiyin(七音) can be treated as a phantom concept in Yinyunxue(音韵学) proposed by Zhaoyintang(赵荫棠).Chapter Four:The Study on Eryazhu(尔雅注).Eryazhu(尔雅注) written by Zhengqiao(郑樵),Eryazhengzhu(尔雅郑注) in short,is a commentary and subcommentary based on predecessors.The scholars always ignore it.We give the contrastive analysis with the other three books concerning Erya(尔雅),and we find that it was followed from the predecessors too much to be similar to the style of Tongzhi(通志). We summarize the special modes of the phonetic notation in Eryazhu(尔雅注),and we find some characteristics among which couples of Chinese character giving their tones side by side.We reappraise Eryazhu(尔雅注) by the help the database,so that we can get the correct comprehension and position.The final chapter is an epilogue.There are two parts:An Overall Merit on the Linguistic Documents Written by Zhengqiao(郑樵),The summary on this Scientific Dissertation.
