The Study Of Han Chinese Clothing In The Song Dynasty

Lasted 300 years, the Song Dynasty is important in the ancient Chinese culture history. Whether the change of political system, scientific and technological development, or the leap of academic ideas, the creation of literary and artistic, have achieved unprecedented success, opening up a historical peak with unique characteristics of the times. Han Chinese clothing, as a physical carrier of the Song Dynasty culture, it has been in a constantly changing and evolving, and radiate a certain era of light, showing a unique clothing customs.However, as the law of it's development, the apparel or style of clothing is also not due to the sudden change of dynasties, and it has its own unique path of the formation and development. In this paper, Han clothing of the Song as a research object, taking the "big history" Ideas, clothing style as the main line, Han clothing of the Song will be divided into three phases to study, namely, the Late Tang, Five Dynasties and early Song Dynasty, the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty, the Southern Song three times, getting rid of the limitations of studying by dynasty dating, which reveals the status and value in the history of clothing in China, summing up the artistic characteristics of Han Chinese clothing in the Song.In this paper, uses a combination of archaeological and documentary methods to analysis of changes in the Song Dynasty Dress in service system, focusing on three different periods of the Song. By a large number of images and unearthed cultural relics, it outlines the clothing custom of different classes, that is, literati class, the public sectors and so on. By the Analysis of it's political, economic and cultural backgrounds to explore the deep-seated reasons of clothing custom changes. Through the dialysis of surrounding minority culture and fashion accessories, to explore the reason of a number of fancy dress appeared in the Song. Through the study of the thinkings that how ruling a country, exploring the dress style of the literator. In addition, the paper also uses multi-disciplinary perspectives to make analysis and comparison on the military clothing, dance clothing, sports apparel, theatrical costumes of the Song, and try to explore those special class clothing characteristics, and the relations to the daily dress of the Han people in the Song.Through the research, revealed several features of the Han costumes in the Song Dynasty. The first is inheritance, which means the inheritance and development of the system of traditional costumes and clothing styles, clothing customs and so on; the second is fusion, which means that during the exchanges and collisions of North-South cultural, the native dress get changed; Under the influence of minority culture, the Han and minority costumes influenced and assimilated each other; the third is variability, that is under the influence of the developed commodity economy and urban culture, upper and lower class costumer's boundaries become increasingly blurred, fancy dress appeared after another; the fourth is secular nature, that is, under the influence of the national-based thinking and culture, the costumes tend to facilitate and secular.
