A Study On Song Dynasty's Poetry Notations By Song Dynasty's People

Song Dynasty's poetry notations by Song Dynasty's people was the striking phenomenon in that historical period.Song Dynasty's people accmplished many notations of Song Dynasty's poetry,some of them,for example,the notation for Wang Anshi?Sushi?Huang Tingjian?Chen Shidao had very high quality which were not only equivalent to the Qing Dynasty'poetry notation that is now enjoy high reputation,but also as good as "thousand of notations of Du Fu's poetry".With the in-depth study of Song Dynasty's literture,there notations gradually become the focus of acedemic circle'attention.However,the academic'attention is basically around several important notations survived completely.Scholars'research always carry out in the way of case study,so,it is clear that the present research is lack of overall comprehension and investigation.Therfore,with the help of research results in recent years,this article is trying to regard it as a dynamic phenomenon and practice a overall researchment,which are based on the more comprehensive documentary exploration and textual debation.This article uses the pattern of monographic study and it is composed of four chapters.The first chapter is documentary research.The first part is the summary and review of the results that the academic cirlces already had.On one hand,gives themthe very high evaluation,on the other hand,points out the flaws and errors.The second part is going to redifine the connotation of Song Poetry's notation by Song Dynasty's people,which this article believes including two sides:noting by other people and noting by the peot themselves.So,this part makes an effort to resupply the reliable Song Poetry's notation by Song Dynasty's people from both sides above.As a result,we get 14 kinds of notations noted by other people and 11 kinds noted by poets themselves.Based on them,we could get closer to the whole world of Song Dynasty's poetry notations which noted by the Song Dynasty's people.After that,we adjust the direction of research and go back to case study.The third part ascertains the compiler of The Poetry of Dong-Po with the Hundred Critics 'Annotations with the internal evidence.There are 50 pieces of Wang Shipeng's annotation in The Poetry of Dong-Po with the Hunderd Critics 'Annotations,which could answer the question whether or not Wang Shipeng is the compiler of this book.11pieces of them are used to suggest the same content that could interpret each other in different places with several ways,including pointing out the expliciting position,or giving the orientated dictations.Moreover there is another note in which Wang Shipeng showed his identity of compiler.Concequently,we can reach a positive conclusion:Wang Shipeng is the compiler of The Poetry of Dong-Po with the Hundred Critics 'Annotations.The fourth part is about the annotation of Zhu Xi's Wi Yi Zhao Ge.Comparing the anthology in the same period,it turns out that the notes between the lines of Wi Yi Zhao Ge'annotation were not noted by Chen Pu.Actually,they mainly came from Cai Zhengsun's Tang Song Qian Jia Lian Zhu Shi Ge which selected seven episodes of Wi Yi Zhao Ge and Cai Zhengsun's comments.This process was accomplished by an annonymous Korean literati during 15th to 17th century instead of Chen Pu,who had not only transplanted,but also done the textual ciriticism and noted 5 pieces of variants.The second chapter is on the connection of Song Dynasty's poetry notations by the Song Dynasty's people and Tang Dynasty's poetry notations by the Tang Dynasty's people.We are so lucky there are 4 kinds Tang Dynasty's poetry notations by the Tang Dynasty's people survived completely.They are Zhang Tingfang's notation of Li Qiao Za Yong Shi,Zheng Yu's Jin Yang Men Shi noted by himself,Chen Gai?Mi Chongji's annotation of Hu Zeng Yong Shi Shi and Zhou Tan's Yong Shi Shi noted by himself.In Song Dynasty,all of them ended the state of hand-writing copy and spreaded constantly in block-printed idition.Moreover,the attitude of Song Dynasty's literati towards these notations was obviously,which they had rearranged?renoted or quoted.At the same time,they had enflunced on Song Dynasty's poetry notations by the Song Dynasty's people as well.Generally speaking,it expressed on the inharitance of the pattern noted by poet themselves.After the promtion of Song Dynasty's liberti,that pattern became an important part of the tradition of poetry annotation.The third chapter is trying to discuss the interaction between Song Dynasty's poetry notations by the Song Dynasty's people and Shi Hua?Poetry anthology.Firstly,not only Song Dynasty's notations quotes Shi Hua,but also there are feedbacks in Shi Hua generally in three ways which are correcting,revision,and evaluation.Secondly,Song Dynasty's notations were absorded in Poetry anthologies and had the same status with all kinds of Shi Hua which were also absorded in.Therefore,we can find a new and interesting phenomenon of being Shi Hua from Song Dynasty's notations.It had an impressive performance in some Poetry anthology between Song and Yuan Dynasty,such as Zhu Zhuang Shi Hua?Ying Kui Lv Sui?Shi Lin Guang Ji?Tang Song Qian Jia Lian Zhu Shi Ge.Meanwhile,the main characters of Song Dynasty's notations,such as the passion for finding the historic proof of poetry and allusions,were accepted subtly by Poetry anthologies,which lead to a new character they never had before.The fourth chapter discusses on notations of Neo-Confucianist's poetry.Now we can find 12 kinds of notations of Neo-Confucianist's poetry and 11 of them were noted for Zu Xi's poems.They had three extraodinary characters:paid attentian to reciting,paid attention to articulating the points hiding in poems,paid attention to understanding and holding hierarchical relationships between poems.In a word,just like Zhu Xi'notations for classics.So,basically,we can conclude that notations of Neo-Confucianist's poetry are just by-products of Neo-Confucianism.Excerpt for the form of poetry,there are no internal relationship with poetry.Otherwise,the notation of He Shan Xian Sheng Qu Yang Shi made by Wang Dewen is totally different.Wang Dewen felt the personnal emotion,so,he noted in the poetry way,that means,he was devoted to finging allusions between lines,trying to combine Neo-Confucianism and poetry,which resulted in a situation and we can realize the poetry's breakthrough successfully from Neo-Confucianism.
