As one independent genre of literature, Uge and Zhongdam is development in 19th century in the history of Mongolian and Tibetan literature cannot be overlooked. Select some animals and plants or lifeless matters most draws close to the Mongolian and Tibetan people practical life, personifies them and expresses the author's thought through their words, is the most remarkable characteristic of Uge and Zhongdam distinguishes from other literature styles.This dissertation works at comprehensive studying about Uge and Zhongdam, summarizes its specific feature, on the basis of this work, comparative studies Uge and Zhongdam, and make clear the characteristic of Uge and Zhongdam differs from each others. Moreover, discuss the relation of Uge in Tibetan and Zhongdam. So far, nobody has comparative studies the relation of Uge in Tibetan and Zhongdam. So, the work of Uge and Zhongdam is meaningful to study the relation of Mongolian and Tibetan literature. Most of all, the translation of Zhongdam writing is very useful research work in future.The article is composed of five parts:preface, main body, conclusion, reference books and appendix.In preface, briefly explains the objects and deals with the research situation of predecessor, reason of choosing the objects and the purpose of study.The first chapter mainly determines the definition of Uge and Zhongdam, briefly introduced writer and his writing, and summarizes their characteristic of Uge and Zhongdam differs from other literature styles, meanwhile, evaluates their important status in the history of Mongolian and Tibetan literature. The second chapter comparative studies Uge and Zhongdam from three angles such as leading character, the framework, main idea etc. In respect to leading character, Select some animals and plants or lifeless matters most draws close to the Mongolian and Tibetan people practical life as leading character, is the most remarkable characteristic of Uge and Zhongdam. So, Uge and Zhongdam have the obvious national character. And it is dissimilar to the quantity and manner of leading character in Uge and Zhongdam. In terms of the framework, the monologue and dialogue is adapted fully in Uge genre. But Zhongdam genre mainly adapts only the dialogue. However, it is very unlike of the adaption of the dialogue in Uge and Zhongdam. In respect to main idea, it is a very remarkable character of Uge and Zhongdam that criticizing a variety of vices in feudal society.The third chapter seeks the reason of Uge and Zhongdam can be an independent genre of literature from the influence of Indian and Tibetan literature etc, and comparative studies "the story of ox, goat and sheep" in Mongolian and "the story of yak, goat, sheep and pig" in Tibetan. And then understand fully the state that influencing each other of Uge in Tibetan and Zhongdam. To tell in deal, in produce of developing one independent genre of literature, Uge and Zhongdam be influenced from JATAKA and the explanation of maxim that are quoting of animal tales to explain with Buddhism and life philosophy. But, in developing history of Uge and Zhongdam as one independent genre of literature, they have formed the obvious characteristic differing from each other.At last, the conclusion is a statement summarizing the important points of the thesis, and point out a plain about research work of Uge and Zhongdam in future.
