This paper bases on the social and cultural background of cultural image evolution of new century. It takes the concept definition of the Chinese TV dramas of military theme as the research start point. Based on the mass media theory and mass culture theory, this paper analyses some dramas in detail with the method of case study, comparison and theoretical study. It studied the evolution of the Chinese TV dramas of military theme in the new century; and analyses the reasons why the dramas are so popular in the new century.
