This dissertation first introduces the whole research framework and systematic e-business outline. In the view of technology solution,company management strategy,and government policies,comprehensive research is done on broadband IP network based on Chinese cable TV network. It recognizes the severe competition in high-end router market in China which is currently dominated by foreign companies,and sets out the initiative goals and principles to guide the development of native router suppliers. Moreover,based on the survey and statistics analysis,it provides a thorough understanding about the current B2C and B2B e-business situation in China,and further addresses the development strategies of B2C and B2B development in China.This dissertation goes as:Chapter 1 Introduction. It introduces research purpose,background,outline and methods.Chapter 2 It introduces the e-business's basic concepts,model types,advantages,and implementation environment requirements and so on.Chapter 3 According to thorough pager research from both the developed countries and developing countries,such as the United States,Canada,Australia,and Thailand,it understands the current status of the general e-business development and the government's role played in the e-business development in those countries.Chapter 4 According to thorough paper research and real case analysis,it understands the current status of the Chinese e-business development,and further defines and summaries the concept of Chinese Internet user plus the inevitable trend of increasing Internet usage.Chapter 5 Research on the telecommunications and broadband network,which is the important e-business infrastructure. It analyzes,compares,and summaries all types of Internet -oriented telecommunication platforms. Moreover,based on the project of Hangzhou Cable TV Broadband Network,it emphasizes on the research issues on broadband IP network based on Chinese cable TV network.Chapter 6 The research on broadband IP network based on Chinese cable TV network identifies a significant number of broad and specific commitments and actions for government. It contributes to help government fully make use of the current idle fiber cable network resources.Chapter 7 Research on Internet. It explains the short history of the Internet development,implementation foundation,major applications,and information security. Speaking of Internet implementation foundation,it recognizes the severecompetition in high-end router market in China which is currently dominated by foreign companies,and then sets out principles to guide the development of native router suppliers.Chapter 8 Based on the survey and statistics analysis,it well explains the existing Chinese B2C e-business model and consumers' behavior. By comparison with the traditional business model,it identifies the advantages and disadvantages of B2C model. It comes up with the initiatives to the further development of Chinese B2C model.Chapter 9 Based on the survey and statistics analysis,it well explains the existing Chinese B2B e-business characteristics,such as company homepage,electronic mail,internal company disadvantages which block the development of its own e-business strategy,and the effect posted by Internet and e-business growth on the company management revolution.Chapter 10 Summary and Forecast.
