Sustainable development is the global issue in modern society. For the countries, especially the developing countries, the decline of natural resource depletion depends on capability of absorbing the technologies that own the property of low resource depletion. Only when it's possible for absorbing this kind of technology the economic structure may transfer from old to new in deed and the policies of protecting environment can get the right impact. So the diffusion of new technology which is low depleted and high outcome play an important role in the course of sustainable development. However, the main micro-models dealing with the sustainable growth haven't analyses the technology diffusion though they recognized the importance of technological progress. On the one hand most models considered the technological progress as exogenous factor of economic development. On the other hand the research of technology-endogenetic analysis excluded the diffusion of technology. As far as the recent technology diffusion's models, they regarded the course of technology supply as principal course such as "learning by doing" and the reduce of uncertain degree, which means they neglected analyzing the demanding course and the important role of information obtained in the course of social interaction by potential user of technology. Some research have indicated that in developing countries the scale of potential user of technology's social network plays an crucial function in explaining the technology adoption probability. This research predicated the learning course embedded in social interaction is not only the basic driver of technology diffusion in developing countries but is the main sources of uncertain. So social capital defined by "the social network, norms and institutions which decide social interaction" has close relations with technology diffusion. Obviously sustainable development is a technology-endogenetic dynamic course except for a course of coordination of human capital produce capital and natural capital. In this dynamic course it is still affected by the interaction of economic individuals. This dissertation constructs a sustainable growth models which endogese the technology diffusion that emphasis the function of social capital, and brings forward a policyframework promoting sustainable development. The author think the technology diffusion affected by social capital play a key and endogenetic role in the course of sustainable development. This thesis would begin the analysis from three aspects:1)the impact of technology diffusion to sustainable development; 2)the impact of social capital to the technology diffusion; 3)the impacting rule of social capital itself. The thesis consists of eight chapters. The introduction briefly discuss the motivation, object and background of study along with the structure arrangement of thesis. Chapter 2 begins discuss the definition, measurement and determinants of sustainable development for the purpose of elicit technology diffusion. Chapter 3 introduce the concept of social capital. This chapter theoretically summarizes and explains social capital so as to make reader understanding this concept clearly. And this can be ready for the comprehending of the relation of social and technology diffusion. Chapter 4 just rebuilds the traditional theory of behavior choices and make some interaction changes, thereby applying a theoretical model for the analysis of technology choice and diffusion. Chapter 5 is the functional continue of chapter 3. This chapter discusses the relations between social capital and economic development, which points that there are some correlations between social capital and macro-micro economic development; chapter 6 started studying the deciding mechanism of technology diffusion. this chapter applies innovatedly social capital to the analysis of technology diffusion and analyzes the impact of several interaction models to technology diffusion; Chapter 7 constructs a model of sustainable development in which model the technology diffusion affe...
