CIM System design and implementation require the guidance of system architecture and methodology. However, the existing architectures cannot present quantitative economic analysis methods, which greatly influences whether the project could succeed. With the practice in all kinds of CIM system projects, the author presents enterprise modeling methods focusing on both graphical language and mathematic/ logistic analysis. In this thesis, the economic view is introduced into the stair-like CIM system architecture (SLA) to realize the quantified analysis of economic factors and projects benefit in CIM system for the first time in the world. The main contents of this thesis are as follows: (1) Economic issues in CIM system are summed up. The economic indicators such as T, Q, C, and E are described. For Example, five effects of cost indicator, five kinds of bottlenecks of time indicator, three kinds of influence of environment indicators, and so on, are all analyzed in this thesis. The integration hierarchy and strategy are discussed, and the target of economic view is bounded.(2) The technical scheme of CIM system architecture research is summarized. The relations concerning with view, model and modeling methods are defined. The target, object, character and the construction principle of architecture are all indicated. Further more, SLA is improved, and the economic view is orientated in CIM system architecture.(3) The definition and elements of economic view is presented. Its three-layered framework (indexes-factors-genes) is constructed. To meet the goal of each layer, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods are developed. The output and application of economic view are indicated. There are two kinds of basic models in economic view: hierarchical model and tree-like model, and they need universal analyzing method making no-structure mapping and relative measuring for the intangible attributes. In this thesis we introduce and improve AHP methods to analyze hierarchical model, and present a graphical method to analyze tree-like model. For the cost and time indicators, a tree-like indexes layer model was constructed. Then, by constructing process structure factors layer model, we analyze how system architectures affect them. By applying statistic and analyzing methods basing discrete-event simulation techniques, we realize quantification of the economic factors in process structure model. Finally, we constitute genes layer model with sheets and formula are constituted, and the two key indicators are analyzed quantitatively. Moreover, we present modeling methods for some other indicators in common use, such as quality, flexibility, and environment.(4) In this thesis, with the economic view, the economic evaluation of global CIM system has been realized, by analyzing system life cycle, project cost, risk and benefit. The mode with which the architecture could quantitatively guide the system design was presented by distinguishing key business processes and describing the object of integrated system optimization.(5) Having researched Chinese specific "calling CIMS" strategy, organization reformation strategy and IPT group strategy of BPR implementation, the system integration strategy methods were enriched. We point out their requirements to the economic view modeling and its support to strategy realization in a quantitative manner.(6) We have upgraded "process structure modeling and analyzing software: EASY IDEF3TM", applying discrete-event simulation techniques to visualize system operation under resource constraints, supporting the statistic and analysis of some indicators, such as cost and time. Besides, we have developed software to realize special reference model management to some extent, and realize AHP methods by introducing the expert decision-making system.(7) Finally, we carried out a practice validation in an actual project, and the report of CIM system design for that project has realized complete and scientific economic analysis at first time.
