Corporate Control Right is the key of corporate governance. The nature of corporate governance is to guarantee the arrangement of corporate control rights and the surplus corporate control rights. Most of the countries have set up principles of corporate governance according to their market environments. There has already been an extensive and fruitful research on corporate governance. But research on corporate control rights lags behind.Research on Corporate Control Rights is to enable a more efficient operation of corporate control rights by the application of Contract Theory, Modern Enterprise Theory, Stakeholder Theory and the Theory of the Social Responsibilities of Enterprises. It is an interdisciplinary research which involves both economics and sociology. The past research on Corporate Control Rights was restricted within economics which focuses on the internal operation of corporate. Few engage the social issues relating to corporate control rights, i.e. to study corporate control rights from the external environment. The value of corporate control rights lies in both its economic benefits and social interests, which is to be inferred from its social environment, not from pure economic calculation. Therefore, it is necessary to extend the research on corporate control rights within the theoretical framework of economics to that of sociology.This paper is to explore the Corporate Control Rights related economic and social issues based on system analysis, norms analysis and empirical analysis. It also shows the application of corporate control rights with case studies. The main purpose of this research is to indicate the significance of corporate control rights in the research of corporate governance.
