Perspective Of Philosophy Of The Peaceful Rise Theory

Peaceful rise of China is a great cause that Chinese people are engaged in. As for China, how to rise peacefully is becoming a very significant research topic of our age. The theory of peaceful rise is an absolutely important strategy of national development and foreign policy that our new leaders put forward. In order to take advantage of this theory to give better instruction of development and rise of China, in order to answer the erroneous views such as the "China threat theory", the "China collapse theory" and so on with vigorous counterblow, in order to offer new way and set good example for the development and rise of the developing countries, it is necessary for us to give more profound study of the theory of peaceful rise. Peaceful rise of China should be all-round, therefore, the research concerning the theory of peaceful rise should also be comprehensive, which requires the scholars of different research fields to approach the theory from different aspects and different perspectives. At present researches at home concerning the theory of peaceful rise are mainly in the fields of politics, history, economics and international relationship. Of course, it is necessary to put the research into different categories from these fields. Nevertheless, Marxist philosophy, the leading subject among social sciences and the essence of the spirit of the times, performs self-examinational and critical function. Therefore it is an urgent and necessary task to advance the research from the angle of Marxist philosophy to closely examine and self-examine the practice and strategy of peaceful rise of China, to draw the conclusion and obtain the law from world outlook and methodology, to guide the great practice of the further peaceful rise of China. This thesis attempts to carry out a research in the field of Marxist philosophy. On the theory of peaceful rise of China from philosophical perspective is composed of introduction and six chapters and this thesis will take up the following questions one by one: what is peaceful rise; why peaceful rise is necessary; why peaceful rise is possible; how peaceful rise is realized; how to evaluate peaceful rise and so forth. Introduction mainly discusses the necessity of the research of peaceful rise of China from philosophical perspective. This part will give a brief account that peaceful rise is a significant research topic of our age; review the historical background when peaceful rise of China was put forward, course of development and repercussion home and broad; proves it necessary to put peaceful rise of China under research in the field of Marxist philosophy; put forward the research method and give a plan of the framework and meanwhile point out the key points and bring forth new ideas of this thesis. Chapter one gives an analysis on the concepts of peaceful rise from philosophical perspective. In the first place, this chapter analyzes the concept, feature and the contemporary view of peace in China. Then clarify some basic concepts involved in the research of peaceful rise of China, such as big power, rise, standard of rise, way of rise, etc. Finally give a clear definition for the meaning of peaceful rise. Meanwhile expounds the gist of the new way by which China rises peacefully, and the Marxist theoretical origin that the strategy of peaceful rise of China comes from. Chapter two focuses on the theory of value under which theory of peaceful rise is expounded. This chapter examines the necessity that China chooses the peaceful way of rise from the angle of Marxist theory of value, which is the theoretical foundation of the strategy of peaceful rise of China. In contemporary world, it is impossible and unnecessary to rise through war and peaceful rise is the sole choice for every country in the world. Peaceful rise tallies with the actual situation of China and it conforms to the interests of Chinese people and people all over the world as well.
