The article first discusses the actual conditions for the Sinofication of Marxism as well as the possibility of realizing it. Based on careful examination of Marxist theoretical features and its mechanism, its generality and ethnicity, together with its Chinese origin and the Marxist explanation of the traditional Chinese culture, it is justifiable to conclude that the Sinofication of Marxism is possible in light of Marxist "historical science".By looking into the status quo and historical development of the Sinofication of Marxism, we may conclude that both have provided a broad stage for China, which has entered the world Capitalist system though still on the margin, to carry out Marxism in China. Also, the hundred years' success and failure of Chinese intellectuals' acquiring truth from the Western world have taught Chinese people to choose Marxism as a way out. The article then clearly defines the meaning of the"Sinofication of Marxism", which should not merely stay at the deductive stage of the word concept, but illustrate how history combines with logic during the implementation, instead. It thus is divided into three levels: Firstly, the Sinofication of the existing problems, including the translation of the Marxist original works and their follow-up explanation. Secondly, the theory and practice of Sinofication. Thirdly, the elevation of Chjnese theory and its practical fruits into the basic theory of Marxism.Gaining some fundamental understanding of the Sinofication of Marxism, I looked into several landmarks suggesting different stages of the Sinofication of Marxism. For example, the Theory of Oriental Society raised by Marx and Engels is a prelude to the orientalization of Marxism. There are two problems at its core: First, the history of social development of oriental countries, i.e., the issue of "Asian mode of production" in a general sense; second, how oriental countries rid themselves of Capitalism, i.e., the "Furcae Caudinae" issue.Lenin and Stalin waged a pilot and "fruitful" trial of orientalizing Marxism, which ushered in the path for applying Marxism in the new age—the orientalization of Marxism. Lenin placed his focus on how to transit Marxism in the direction of Socialism in the new global environment, and came up with the conclusion that the nations lagging behind might be the growth soil for newinstitutions.Influenced by the world advanced causes, especially by the October Revolution in Russia, the first Chinese intellects started to spread and study Marxism. Mr. Li Dazhao and Mr. Li Da are among the most outstanding in terms of the basic theory. Later on, Mao Zedong's Thoughts emerged through revolution. Marxism of any time should address the problems of that time in China, which are oftentimes the combination of the world trend and the Chinese revolutionary characteristics. Mao Zedong's critique on doctrinairism and empiricalism well reflects the spirit of dialectics, which served as the guideline of that historic revolution. Mao Zedong's Thoughts is a textbook example of applying dialectics in China as well as the common wealth shared by the Sinofication of Marxism and the international Communist movement.Deng Xiao Ping's Theory, the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, is a second landmark of the Sinofication of Marxism. Mr. Bo Yibo once well commented on the great historical contribution made by the two leading cores with a sum-up of "beginning with Mao and being accomplished by Deng". Mr. Deng reconsidered the features of Socialist issues in the new age and shaped up the socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics, thus striking the balance between world trend and China's road of development in a time when international communism was greatly battered. The great thoughts of "Three Representatives" is crystallized by our Party's 50 years of governing experience since its establishment 80 years ago. It is a scientific conclusion of practice rather than an abstract theoretical mentality. "Advancing with the time" is the expression of Marxism today.According to the new practical features, the present CPC members adhere to the principle of "people-come-first and develop a forward-looking view of coherence and sustainability to push forward social and economical progress", and put forward five strategic plans for new revolution, which are conducive to the development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics. Recently, the goal of building a harmonious society signals that the Sinofication of Marxism has been pushed to a new high. It has overcome the turmoil of global imperialism, and has realized the transition of China's theme of reform.
